Lealana Check

Hi all, Been a while! Hope your all keeping well

Just wanted a sanity check for a 1BTC lealana coin I hold from some of the experts here.

According to the Encyclopaedia of Physical Bitcoins, the 1BTC Gold Plated variety has the following mintage figures

N/S Black - 0
Black - 290
B/F Black - 10
Green - 200
Total - 500

I'm hoping mine is one of those 10!, pretty sure it is. Its buyer funded and black text. (full redeemed a long time ago after i funded it)

Does B/F stand for buyer funded or something else? I don't actually own the book, I just came across a thread on reddit with a screenshot of it posted.

Just weighing up whether to send it for grading etc, defo will if its one of only 10.

Technically all Lealana are buyer funded, whether marked as BF or not, the coin is either buyer funded before shipment (no BF on hologram) or buyer funded after it is delivered (BF on hologram) either way - Smoothie does not fund the coins - the buyer always funds their own coins.

But to answer your question the "B/F" does stand for Buyer Funded so it appears that yours is one of 10 that have the Buyer Funded hologram.

Well you covered the firstbits text in your photo so we don’t know if it’s black or green but assuming it’s black, looks like a rare one to me!
