Wow crap, I would love to get some of this, but I'm not sure what the heck I would do with 1 KG of tea! 

How long does this tea keep before it gets a little musty?
If you're searching these lines for a point, you've probably missed it.  There was never anything there in the first place.

If you store it in a dark and drily place it can be durable several month without any problems.
