Ever since the Securities and Exchange Commission started playing the role of regulators to everything crypto in Nigeria there has been a significant boost on the country's adoption of bitcoin and other crypto currencies and it's also good to not forget that our government has also found a way to also tax us for our crypto related transactions and they are now considered taxable as well, we are no growing as fast as we should be as a country in relation to crypto but at the very least we are making progress and with the 2025 Act on investments and securities we can now take advantage of the system to also increase bitcoin's adoption in our own ways.

OP I can understand that you're more optimistic about creating a thread to have something to offer the community. Still, sincerely, you are not giving the required information on details on how this should be presented, there's no highlighted points, reference or further details on how the history is being explained, which a noon may find difficult to even understand where you're coming from, but it's such a courage you've got to at least write something, which you can do more better in the future, just take this observation in love.

When it comes to regulation of Bitcoin in the country it's just starting of recent and I believe most people are not too aware of it. But with the Nigerian security and exchange commission setting up the guidelines for the use of crypto currency there's much confidence that has come to crypto currency. I can still remember when former president buhari band Binance this was simply due to lack of sufficient regulatory framework and that, alot of people were using crypto to steal money. This regulations has even helped the government because of the tax that are been generated from crypto related transactions.

How regulated is bitcoin actually in Nigeria? Even with the little push we are seeing here and there, it's still not stopping anyone from transacting his bitcoin do we can't take it as a big deal that bitcoin is being regulated in our country.

To an extent, we can't even talk about Nigeria as one of those country with harsh bitcoin regulation because rarely will you see the government or even security agency making a big deal about owning bitcoin. If not for the fraudulent internet fraudsters that are fond of using bitcoin for bad purposes which results to a negative look at bitcoin, there's no just way to feel that regulation is a big deal in Nigeria.

You can not know the history of bitcoin in Nigeria because the history you wrote here does not include people who have started bitcoin for a long time but are anonymous, some people here in this our local board has been in bitcoin for so long but since they are anonymous they can’t be in the history books
You are more likely writing on the history of Nigerian government in bitcoin.
Although you did not capture major events like they Binance problem that has their representative arrested in Nigeria .
