Don't get too pumped up because of a small bullish move yet. The market can suprise us at anytime.  Besides it's not hacking anything because the previous cycle seems to already be completed. It's starting a new one in 2026 prepare ahead of the next halfing. If we take a look at bitcoins past market price actions we can see that in the last two years it's been different. Aside that, we have many economical factors that can further boost it's price into skyrocketing. With institutions and government all over bitcoin now, it didn't exist years ago so bitcoin seems to follow just a simple cycle. Now it's begining to change but who knows? I think it's too early to say that Bitcoin has "hacked the formula" it has been a half a month so we can't say that the year will Be bullish on the basis of its performance for a few weeks. At the start of 2025 Bitcoin was at $93,000 from where it continued a bullish momentum where everybody thought that it's going to the moon and made an ATH of $108,000, people were very happy. But after that a Bull run started and in April BTC reached a bottom of $75,000 in April then in the year End it made an ATH of 126k before ending the year -6% down. So what I want to say is that we can't judge a trend for the year in just 15 days. It's a roller coaster.

I think it's still too early to say that it will reach 250k. If that's the case then the price of btc should have been steady at 100k like what happened on 2025 but it stays below 100k and even now the current price of Bitcoin is at 90k+. As others have explained that this year could be the bearish year instead of bullish year although I don't have complete proof or even an analysis that it will reach 250k this year since no one can really predict the exact situation of Bitcoin this year because some may say it will reach that amount but didn't and some will also say that it will decrease but didn't. How do you come to the conclusion that this upcoming cycle will be “better” than past cycles?  The trend for every single cycle has shown decreasing returns.  For example, in the 2013 cycle there was an approximate 1,500% increase; by the end of the 2017 cycle, there was a 250% increase, and by the end of the 2021 cycle, the increase was a mere 80%.  This is not a matter of opinion but a simple math.

Honestly, based on my point of view, it is still very early to start talking about this because we are still in the month of January and it's just 15 days (just like what the first person said in his comment). We haven't reached the middle of the Year yet, as we still have up to 11 months to go. I believe before the year will divide into two, we might get what we all expect but there's no guarantee yet. However, we can not know what the price will be in the next cycle, so even though Bitcoin didn't pull back a little this year but maintained it's $95k or $100k rang, it wouldn't be a bad idea. The only thing there is that we should just buy and hold for long term, that's all.

To buy and hold is the best strategy to get good returns, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Even if you still do normal everyday trading, it is always important to hold some funds and not use it all on trading alone.

Aside from bouncing back, Bitcoin is also known to retrace whenever it is oversold.  Instead of us worrying about the volatility of Bitcoin and when to time the market, I agree with those who reply to DCA instead of waiting for the bottom.

We never know how Bitcoin will trend next week, it may rally towards breaking ATH or fully transition to a bearish market, downtrending.  What is important is to hold Bitcoin in our non-custodial wallet and make plans to accumulate it through DCA-ing.  This, at least, ensures us that we have Bitcoin in our stash when the price rallies in the future.

Well firstly its early days, we are 15 days into the new year!

There has been many a debate regarding whether we will see a continuation of a 4 year cycle
or whether that has come to a finish with less pronounced corrections/pull backs/crashes.

A bear market doesnt happen over night or in 2 weeks, its a slow process with dips and rises
so I think it will be realistically at least 6 months before a conclusion can be made.

Seriously? Are we looking at the same chart? Just because it stopped for a while and doesn't drop like a stone to the bottom, that doesn't mean it's not a bear part of the cycle. Usually everything bounces on the way up and on the way down. Actually it's not usually, it's all the time.

Zoom back and by all means draw some denial TA that supports your views. I wouldn't mind it going ath again and surprising me but that's not what the chart is saying. Literally the opposite when it can't break the 100k, as that's huge psychological barrier as well.

I sense this to be more about profit, making a fortune from Bitcoin in a short time rather than having a clear idea of the Bitcoin innovation as well. You might get discouraged easily should you carry this idea about it and I think it would do you a lot of good not to be too focused on these little changes.

Who said that, and who are they? The market does not work as they say or as if it were a magic trick.
It is true that it is difficult to predict the price of Bitcoin. When people say that the price will not rise, they are often wrong because the market reacts differently, causing the price to rise despite predictions to the contrary.

Manipulators exist in any market. In the Bitcoin market, the nickel market, and other markets. So, the best thing to do is to buy based on your ability and then hold. Repeat this regularly.
