This forum really helped me when I was a newbie, I wanted to contribute some useful information to the community and I know this forum accept discussions related to scam and hacks, that is where I started from. But in the process of researching for what I can bring to be useful on this forum, I was able to know about scam and hacks and how to avoid them. Also as we continue to be active on this forum, we learn every time about new scam and we avoid them. Although, not just on this forum but from other places like news, X and other crypto online places, it is good to stay updated with recent news about scammers and hackers.
X is still not that high on the list, but Telegram is the home of scammers. Believe me, you will get a bunch of private messages pretending to be from the support team if you message in a public group of a project or a platform. They will have names or usernames set as the moderators or admins of that chat so that the ones receiving the message don't suspect at the first glance, and as unbelievable as it could be, some people actually fall in their traps, mostly because they lack knowledge about this industry or such platforms, and they believe they are actually being approached by the team to help them out.
Those who are already aware of these things don't fall for these tricks, which is why they usually attack newbies and those who they know are not knowledgeable because you can have an idea about someone's intellect if you see their messages and what kind of questions they are asking, and scammers are pretty smart when it comes to these things. They might try it on everyone, but they know ways to trick newbies more easily, they know what could get them trapped quickly.
