I don't trade much with my bitcoins. I just accumulate and save them for the long term. And I still do that. Although last year I was tempted to sell my bitcoins when they reached a fairly high price, I immediately accumulated them again when the price corrected, so the amount of bitcoins I owned increased without me having to add more money. But after that, I actually felt tired of it. And I decided not to sell it again until a certain period of time. I did, and that's why it's a proven strategy that I can make more by being patient through holding than to be so active in trading. It's okay to trade anytime you want and have your orders open in the market and at the same time, you have your holding. Do not touch the holdings that you have in Bitcoin and if you ever profit from your trades, always convert and have a portion of it being added to your holdings. I think patience beats panic, I'd say. We lose out when we trade too much because our decisions are often driven by greed, fear, or emotions, rather than being based on analysis and sound reasoning. If it means just rushed decision making and unreliable plan or action, then its best to just stay patient and do nothing to avoid creating mistakes and losses that could turn your future regrets. When we first start investing or trading in bitcoin, we sometimes get so excited that we check the market every chance we get. However, this habit usually disappears as we gain more experience in the market. This is especially true when we start to focus solely on long-term investments, which don't really require regular market checks at all, unless we are accumulating or something similar at that time.

Personally, I acknowledge that holding on patiently has yielded greater returns than my own trading in Bitcoin. However, trading in altcoins might be a different story. But in Bitcoin, I believe buying and holding it for the long term is indeed better.

From my perspective I can't agree more with you because that's exactly what I realized but from the very start I invested in bitcoin for long time, I never had the intentions of trading in btc pair while I traded in alts, but when I started to buy btc and earn it via signatures and held it over a period that it made me a huge profit and I was shocked to learn that no matter how much efforts I would put into day or even swing trading I would not be able to make profit that I made just by holding all this time, not seeing the market even and doing other things in meanwhile.

Bitcoin investing is best if we want to make a profit in the long run because some might say we can't wait too much, but after a year or two they will be making less profit then the holders then they will also realize this.
