As a gambler sometimes you will be pushed to gamble more, but make sure you don’t break your rules, don’t exceed your gambling budget.
When someone's perception is tied to gambling = doubling your money, that person will have difficulty in setting rules and not exceeding budget. That person needs to accept the reality which hurts, but is real, saying that casinos dont give out money for free, some get lucky, most get poor. Following that they need to start making rules to control their habits. Because the person who is gambling is the sole person involved in this, getting family help and discussing with loved ones always makes some difference.

Dont make gambling control your daily stuff, instead you should be the one playing at leisure with money you can afford to play with.

As a gambler if you can’t control yourself you going to end up doing what you are not suppose to do. As a gambler you have to be disciplined if not you will end up doing what you are not even suppose to do. Make sure you have a gambling budget, and make sure no matter what you are doing, don’t always exceed your budget. As a gambler sometimes you will be pushed to gamble more, but make sure you don’t break your rules, don’t exceed your gambling budget.

As much as possible, a gambler should always see to it that he has the control of his activities, otherwise, gambling will control his life. And before he realized it, it is already too late. For sure, every gambler knows the repercussions of what he's doing, the usual dilemma is how to stop his desires especially when he doesn't have money anymore.
One should be able to realize that they have control over their activities, whether it be gambling or other things. Having self-control is important, as it can determine what our future will be like. With gambling, it is certainly very important to have control, because if we gamble without proper control, gambling will control our lives, and instead of us playing the game, the game will play us.

However, if someone who was once financially secure suddenly finds themselves in dire straits due to excessive gambling, and then becomes aware and motivated to improve, it is not too late. Even though they may have lost many assets, the opportunity to improve is still wide open.

The consciousness of restraint is one of the foundational pillars in shaping out what one wants to get in dealing with any speculative risk. I highly comply with the fact that when someone loses control, it implies letting circumstances to rule their lives, but the will to change oneself is a very logical part of the healing process. As much as loss of assets hurts it can be made possible through discipline and new logic of financial regeneration. There is never too much hope that people who are ready to learn through their previous errors and to create a more stable base of life that can be used as a second chance.

The problem that always happens is that not a few of us especially when it comes to gambling will really learn from the experience when we've actually lost what we had and make it a regret.

Although this is still good enough because they realize their mistakes even if it takes a little longer, cases like this also make some of us unable to improve the situation, even if we can take time for that.
This kind of condition always happens for most gamblers and maybe even around us there are also like that when they have lost all the property they have, they only realize that what they have been doing all this time in gambling is an inappropriate action.

Having the right mindset in gambling is very important because when people have the wrong mindset in gambling, they approach it just as they think based on their mindset.

This is why it is very encouraging for beginners to understand and develop a better mindset in Bitcoin; with the right mindset, you don’t have to make mistakes in gambling. There are bad consequences to having the wrong mindset in gambling. Gambling is very risky and dangerous when your mindset is different from what gambling is all about.

Perception is simply the way something is viewed, more like the opinion held by people about a particular subject depending on how it appears to them.

In gambling, our perception drives our actions towards it which includes but are not limited to the examples below:
  • People who view gambling as entertainment tends to gamble with limits and have a budget. They tend to see it in the same vein as going to parks, swimming or seeing a movie, More like a recreational object. This is obviously the right perception.
  • People who view it as a way of making money tends to treat it as a solution to financial hardship and often throw in everything in it including but not limited to finances and valuable time.
  • People who view gambling as risky or harmful tends to avoid it totally and further victimize people currently into it since they think it is only associated with addiction, financial problems, family and societal problems.

How someone views gambling affects the following:
  • How often they gamble.
  • The funds allocated to it.
  • The timing of engagement and the length of time spent therein.
  • Their ability to recognize harm early and act decisively.

I believe the wrong perceptions of gambling are the root causes of excessive gambling and negative energy from the society towards it.

So next time you see someone gambling wrongly, you try to change his perception towards it first because if he embraces the right perception, he would be more receptive to responsible gambling practices.

What do you think?

Great post OP, perception is reality! How you percieve something is how its going to be in your mind's eye. If you think gambling is bad and leads to total descrution for example then you probably wouldn't be a huge advocate for gambling and probably shun it every chance that you get. I for one view gambling as a double edged sword that can either make you a killing or kill your finances if you let it. I do have to say that I think gambling is fun & you can definitely have a fun time doing it! It just depends on the person and their personality. Proably a mix of upbringing as well and perception a lot of times can be molded by both your parents perceptions as well so there is that to think of as well.
