Literally, Hunger humbles the pastor to create an earthly God. There is a story of a Nigeria Pastor that relocated to the UK and somehow ended up working in a Chinese factory that casts and molds some Hindu gods. The pastor is assigned the task of molding the goddess of the sea. I guess we can say the goddess of the sea somehow blesses his bank account.
But on a serious note, do you think it is appropriate for a pastor to take on such a job?... I know he has to pay bills and we can also argue that, since he doesn't believe in the gods! Then there's no harm done to his own religious beliefs.
