I don't how to title the thread but I hope this works..

So I will keep it simple, I just wanted to know if the forum has any difference when you are browsing or using it through your mobile phone  and when you are on it with a PC.

The reason why am asking is because I see alot of thread that are sometimes created with so many special characters that I have checked on my mobile although I don't know if am the one that don't know how to navigate it but I can seem to see the features, example of the features am talking about is the flashy write up and special characters people add to their threads.

Sometimes what I do is that I kinda quote them to see what type of keys or write up is there so I can emulate it. For now I don't have a PC but am planning to get one so I wanted to ask official which means is way better to access the forum, a PC or mobile ?.

The forum isn’t very mobile friendly, so I definitely rather access it through my PC.

But no, there is no difference. What you see on your phone, you see on your desktop. No idea what “special characters” you’re talking about. You can use emojis and characters on both mobile and PC. Same with bbcode to make a text bold or italic.

Why don't you drop a screenshot of what you are talking about for proper understanding of the reader in other to really understand what you are talking about the flashy write up and special characters.

Nothing, especially if you are using the same browsers at least those chromiom based browses liked chrome, brave and edge, this is the same for firefox. Can you tell what is browser you are using. Also, add a screenshot of what you are seeing.

I'll be blunt: why do you want those "special flashy characters"? Your entire post history looks like you're hunting for Merit to rank up. Your Merit history makes it even more obvious, and you're now on my Ignore list so I don't waste more time on your posts.

To answer your question: if you have to ask if a full-size keyboard with a full-size screen is better than a 6 cm keyboard and a 15 cm screen, there's only one way to find out: try it. As a PC user, I can't stand typing on a phone screen.

Nothing that I can think of, it is just that the forum UI flows better on PC view because the screen is wider, so it feels more comfortable using a PC.

While I wait for your clarification on flashy writeup, I would want you to still know that some things you feel are special characters on PC are custom built by some users eg  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ from Wind_FURY

Both are good, PC  for a better experience. If it is about characters, then I think you need to master your mobile keyboard. You don't really need overly special characters to contribute meaningfully on the forum.

The only difference is in appearance, as browsers are generally tied to your device's system settings, such as fonts, screen size, and special character compatibility. There are also several browser extensions developed by forum members here for various purposes, and you can only use certain mobile browsers that allow extensions to be installed to enjoy these special features (I haven't yet verified their optimal performance on mobile versions).
