Browsers block insecure WebSocket by default. Use Firefox with this fix:

1. Open Firefox (Chrome won't work)
2. Type in address bar: about:config
3. Click "Accept the Risk and Continue"
4. Search: network.websocket.allowInsecureFromHTTPS
5. Click the arrows to change it to true
6. Restart Firefox

Technical note on peer display:

The dashboard shows peer count with a 10-second refresh. P2P discovery takes longer - sometimes minutes. This is normal behavior for any decentralized network.

Nodes behind NAT/firewall (home connections) may show fewer peers because they can't receive incoming connections. VPS with public IPs see more peers.

What matters:
- Blocks increasing = connected
- Balance growing = mining works
- Logs show real activity

For real-time peer status:
