@visibleplayer @Hashrateoptions

Let's step back and look at the numbers:

**Total supply:** 21,000,000 LUMENYX
**Mined so far:** ~14,000 LUMENYX (block #68,000 × 0.208)
**That's:** 0.07% of total supply

We're fighting over 0.07%.

The chain is 2 days old. 99.93% of all LUMENYX that will ever exist hasn't been mined yet.

Bitcoin launched in 2009. Satoshi mined alone for months. Early adopters got millions of BTC for pennies. Nobody calls Bitcoin "unfair" today.

You're not late. You're incredibly early.

The real question isn't "who got more in the first week" - it's "what will this chain become in the next 4 years?"

If LUMENYX succeeds, whether you have 10 or 100 or 1000 coins today won't matter much. If it fails, none of this matters anyway.

And remember: the restart decision is still open. We made a mistake with the 5,000 locked tokens and we're letting the community decide - continue or restart fresh. Your voice matters.

Stop fighting. Start building. Or just mine and wait.

We're working on P2Pool right now - decentralized mining pool so everyone earns proportionally. Coming soon.

No another miner that can use more threads?
See i have asked from the beginning, no response because developer also mined with full threads and called this fair launch

It is because you are late and blame everyone nice one !
Yeah sure  Grin Ok we started talking nonsense.
It's you with dev who made this coin, nice!

You can say what you want but you are late anyway.
Two kids launched this coin to fuc up miners by calling this fair launch. Was too busy premining and won't fix source by saying it's people's job or something?  Grin Grin Grin

I have managed multithreading so dont count me in As I am not a part of developers and do not claim such things.

I suggest to join discord and make voting there and I think restart would be good in my opinion as we have too many babies on board that are crying.

I have managed multithreading so dont count me in As I am not a part of developers and do not claim such things.
We got only 40-50 blocks in 2-3 hours before even you managed how to use multithreading and difficulty rised 100 times. Developer was mining with multithreads from the beginning, even 24 threads is better than 24 people with 1 thread because of the fast block time and others will just get orphans most of the time.

Ok in that case I did not know there was such things like that on start but I have make fork of it and test it with one thread and first 500 blocks on one thread spins like crazy just becasue of low diff not multithreading. I will advise you to learn how things works. But ... I do not claim there was no multithreading on developer side as I do not know that.

Current network status: Block #2450+, 5+ active peers, difficulty ~200.
Thats where i have started mining. Who said he used 1 thread to catch first easy blocks? difficulty ~200  Grin and 300 was before you. And we get 50 blocks in 2-3 hours before you, with block time 2.5 sec of mining at this same difficulty as he posted at block 2450.  Grin
He already was mining with full threads
And he gave bootnode 30 minutes before this post with block 2450
But ann was made 20 minutes before he even gave bootnode

He will now not restart because can't premine as much as he did anymore. And he didn't fix the code to add multithreading because at least he get yet something, than nothing. And only after you gave instruction how to make it working he changed the source
Typical premine, he just was not lucky because you come with mulithreading to early

Hi yall ,
I would like to not restart the chain. I first mined this with one 7950x just testing it out, was about 200 diff was hitting blocks easy and noticed only 9.5% load on the cpu. I then used AI to help me and I added multi threading process took about 1 hour not hard at all. I would not call myself a "programmer" so this might give you a hint, if you have been living under a rock. I then ran my other 5 rigs on this since then really just having some fun with it. For a chain only 2 days old and running butter smooth and 0.07% of supply mined and multi thread mining enabled, I don't think it makes much sense to restart over again over some wanting more blocks of the 0.07% , think of this, we restart then a server whale is now wants to mine you could end up with less then you have now. Then what restart again ? lol  Grin . Anyway this is my opinion everyone is free to their own , just wanted to share mine and say hi to the early community here Cool

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
⚡ UPDATE v2.1.0 - While You Decide, We Build
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The discussion about restart vs continue is still open. We're reading every opinion.
But we didn't sit idle. While waiting, we kept building.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🔧 WHAT'S NEW IN v2.1.0
1. Multi-Thread Mining
Menu option [8] - Set how many CPU threads you want to use.
Your hardware, your choice.
2. P2Pool - Decentralized Mining Pool
Menu option [9] - This is the big one.
Small CPU? Can't compete solo? Now you don't have to.
Enable pool mode and join other miners. When ANY pool member finds a block, rewards are distributed to EVERYONE based on contribution.
No central server. No fees. No trust required. Fully decentralized.
How it works:

Miners with pool mode connect to each other automatically
Everyone submits "shares" (partial proofs of work)
When someone finds a real block → PPLNS algorithm splits rewards
You earn consistently instead of waiting for lucky solo blocks

Technical specs:

PPLNS window: 256 shares (rewards based on last 256 contributions)
Max payouts per block: 64 miners
Share difficulty: main_difficulty / 256 (easier targets so small CPUs can contribute)

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📥 HOW TO UPDATE

⚠️ Clean install recommended to get all new features

Step 1: Remove old installation
rm -rf ~/.lumenyx ~/lumenyx-setup.sh

Step 2: Go to GitHub and copy the one-command script
👉 https://github.com/lumenyx-chain/lumenyx

Step 3: Run it and restore your wallet with your 12 words when asked

Your new menu will include:
[8] 🔢 Set Mining Threads      ← NEW
[9] 🏊 Mining Pool             ← NEW

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🏊 HOW TO ENABLE P2POOL

Press [9] to enable Pool Mode, then:
1. Press [1] to STOP mining
2. Press [1] again to START mining

This restarts the node with --pool-mode active.
⚠️ If you skip this, menu shows "POOL" but you're mining solo!
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
👥 COMMUNITY IS GROWING
Great to see @Hashrateoptions created a Discord for the community. This is exactly what we hoped for - people building together, not waiting for us to do everything.
We said from day one: "No Telegram. No Discord. No Twitter." from missed2009.
That doesn't mean YOU can't build them. It means WE won't control them.
The community Discord is yours. Use it. Discuss. Collaborate.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
💬 A NOTE TO THE COMMUNITY
We heard the frustration about single-thread mining. We fixed it.
We heard small miners felt left out. We built P2Pool.
We hoped the community would help build these tools - that's the open source way.
But we also understand not everyone is a developer.
So we built it ourselves. For you.
This is what LUMENYX is about: less complaining, more building.
Whatever you think about restart or continue, share your opinion here or on Discord. We're listening.

There are already 17 peers, meaning the blockchain is actively growing through participant nodes. In my opinion, a restart is unnecessary.

People still don't have peers, look above)

Correct your instructions on the first page /ip4/89.147.111.102/tcp/30333/p2p/12D3KooWS1fio8rRrFDu2UmsCLKJcHVuhTUNkpThBkzkK3znkTmL.
I don't have peers with this bootnode either,
but have with a bootnode from GitHub  /ip4/89.147.111.102/tcp/30333/p2p/12D3KooWJKj5VQPZMd2nZjJbQTkrkqcUmsSy9gC3zk2unUCF2Uge.

People mine idle, you tell everyone that everything is working,
and they need to open ports, router, firewall, antivirus, we waste time, effort, money on meaningless mining,
and just to use the bootnode from GitHub.

And no one says anything, of course restart.

Yes developer changing bootnodes on source code time to time and do not even tell here   Grin But of course no restart, developer was mining from early start with full threads when others did it with 1 thread. Not changing source code  to add full threads after people noticed 100 times more difficulty and just saying this
This is what LUMENYX is for. Anyone can build anything.

It would be great if you shared it with the community. We grow together.

- missed2009

When another guy gave instruction how to enable threads, only then developer changed source code

 📢 Bootnodes Update
Official bootnodes:
/ip4/46.62.142.241/tcp/30333/p2p/12D3KooWPHmPbBy6f549TTSKS8VAsULbqsMG2GNQSLUrdhs7VRm1
/ip4/89.147.111.102/tcp/30333/p2p/12D3KooWJKj5VQPZMd2nZjJbQTkrkqcUmsSy9gC3zk2unUCF2Uge
How to connect:

Stop your node
Go to: https://github.com/lumenyx-chain/lumenyx
One command to start:

curl -sL "https://api.github.com/repos/lumenyx-chain/lumenyx/contents/lumenyx-setup.sh" -H "Accept: application/vnd.github.v3.raw" -o lumenyx-setup.sh && chmod +x lumenyx-setup.sh && ./lumenyx-setup.sh
Your wallet and coins are safe.

What we're working on:
We're optimizing the mining script for better performance.
We're also discussing a possible fresh start: same script for everyone, multithread enabled, and removing the faucet (it's a dead address anyway - 5,000 LUMENYX burned).
What do you think? Share your comments.
