For those who play for the purpose of entertainment, winning is not as important as for those who play with the sole purpose of making a profit. But as practice shows, it is the former who win more often than the latter, and this may be due to the fact that most people still play for entertainment.

I think most people actually play for profit and few people play for entertainment. This is because newer people who come into gambling mostly do so not for entertainment and fun but for the potential for profit. If I found myself being trapped in gambling and losing a substantial amount, I wouldn't quit gambling totally but rather take a break until I recover the amount I lost from gambling.  Taking a break to replenish finances, I think, is the best way to keep ourselves financially sound while engaging in gambling.

The problem with people who are trapped in the illusion of getting rich is that they fail to realize that they are getting hooked and greedy, which often ends in ruin.  But at the end of the day, this problem will be solved if one practice responsible gambling.

It is true that you can actually get wealthy through gambling and some people have even shown that it is very possible but it doesn't come very easy, it's kinda like a 50/50 chances and you either make it or you lose it so it depends on luck and your skills. Becoming rich through gambling is by luck and i think you're right when you said that the chance of becoming rich in gambling is 50/50 but you forget to add poor because this makes the chance to be equal because most gamblers loss everything in the process of trying to become rich through gambling so the Chance of becoming rich in gamble is 50 while the chance of becoming poor is also 50, but it is better we don't go with this mindset of becoming rich through gambling because it  can make us loss the little we have.

What kind of people use their gambling wins to take care of their families every month? I don't think that's possible, one cannot possibly win money consistently from gambling because even if you win this month, or a couple of months, but you can't stay profitable all the time, and there will surely be times when you will lose, because that's how gambling works. As long as my gambling activities are not irrational or driven by emotions, I'm not quitting, at least not yet. I've come to understand that in life, you've to take risks. I don't think it's normal for a person to be losing substantial amount of money to any casino, if the money is big fit you to lose that means you have used an amount you ate not ready to lose and that is first rule of gambling you have failed. You need to know that if it's not working for you in gambling, then you also need to know that the money you are losing isn't supposed to be a problem for you, try stop it reduce the money you put at risk in gambling maybe it will work.

From the very start, I know that I am just the usual gambler that doesn't aim for greater profits but if that time comes out of my luck, I'd be happy to take that.

Winning in gambling is not how much you know about gambling,  winning in gambling is just about luck. Gambling is unpredicted and you cant tell if you will become rich in gambling and it is something which you cant even rely on because you will end up getting disappointed by your own expectations in gambling . Exactly mate, the point when you divert your attention to becoming rich through gambling that's when addiction comes in, cause gradually give it more attention and become more consistent which is one of the things that leds to addiction, gambling is a game of luck and the favr that it can be quite difficult to be lucky sometimes means that gamblers should give all their attention to it. Now I'm thinking that it has the same path with trading.

In crypto trading, there's a huge possibility that you will be losing money or at least breakeven at best for the first 3 years before making consistent amount of money. Now it's the same with gambling where you will lose or maybe breakeven your money in the first 3 years. The only difference is that, some of them might make money in the long run, but there will be some that will continuously lose money despite of gambling for 3,5, or even 7 years.

As for the question, yes I believe that we can still become rich in gambling, but for that to be achieved, we need HUGE amounts of money because we might lose at first. As for me, I don't think that it came to my mind where I want to be rich with the help of gambling. I guess that's how people think when they see only gambling as a FORM OF ENTERTAINMENT.

There are people who have been playing for more than three years and still dream of winning back what they have lost during all these years. But it seems to me that the worst thing in this situation is not even how much money they have lost, because money can always be earned again, but the worst part is how much time they have spent on gambling without achieving anything, and how much more they will spend trying to win it back. And later, as an excuse, they will say that they play just for entertainment. Of course, there are players who make small bets and play for fun, spending very little time on gambling.
