The amount of Bitcoin a person can buy based on their weekly income depends on how much their savings will last. There are also many who plan to save a percentage of their monthly income and invest it. If they meet their daily needs and later buy Bitcoin with their savings, then I think it will definitely be a good plan for them. Currently, most people invest in Bitcoin and hold it for a long time only with the aim of getting a high price. So the more Bitcoin they can buy from their monthly income, the more value they will get in the future, but that investment must be for a long time. We know that keeping Naira is not profitable at all, but the possibility of loss is high, in which case investing in Bitcoin and gold is a good option. For a long time and to get high price returns, gold and Bitcoin are the best for investment.

The easiest way to figure out the amount you will use for your weekly or monthly Bitcoin purchase is after sorting out all expenses,It is advised to invest with our discretionary income that's the Left over after all expenses is been carried out. if this method is working perfectly for you then I would say you should keep it up, but I'm not okey with This method of dividing my weekly income into 4, and even though I go with this method it won't work Because after dividing them into 4 I will be Left with just little or zero balance Because my weekly income is not that Big to be split into 4 so I would rather wait until I get paid fully that's month end.
Ones disreationary income remains what we need to invest in Bitcoin, I would've reacted to the op title and because it does not relate very well with the content of the message, he would have make it to relate to what he is trying to share, moving away from that, Bitcoin investment is mainly for smart thinkers, it is long-term investment for a reason, it means as investors we have to figure out ways that we can invest in it without having issues or at some point having the mindset of withdrawing our investment, I do not want to go into any detailed stuff, but what I know is that if an investor earns weekly, his disreationary income should be used to invest weekly, if it is monthly, the same should be done and that is all.

I actually picked 30% because expenses can varies weekly or monthly depending on the level of responsibilities you have on your shoulders. If you had less expenses this month, it could be higher or lesser the following month and that's what will determine if you are going to be increasing or reducing your investment amount on Bitcoin. So, some weeks can be 30% for me while some weeks can also be 40% or 10%, while some weeks can be 0% investment. It's not always fixed because things can come up to interfere with our plans.

The question is how much bitcoin can you hold weekly from the income you earn weekly? If you earn monthly, just divide the amount by 4, what percentage from the income can you use to invest in bitcoin?
The amount of Bitcoin one can buy weekly or monthly depends on the amount of discretionary income available after attending to your basic needs. Of course, some might have a high propensity of expenses depending on different reasons, either large family size, maybe an ongoing hospital bills to be cleared or so many other factors, and such an investor might end up only investing little as remaining from his general income. While on the other hand, someone might have little expenses to attend to at the end of teg week or month depending on your cash flow, and so such a person buys more bitcoin., and of course, the major is the amount you receive as pay, either big or small has a large impact on how much you can buy at the end of the week or month. I wouldn't say that the amount of Bitcoin one can buy weekly or monthly solely depends on the amount of their discretionary income that is available, even while our investment money will come from discretionary income the amount to be invested depends on how much importance such person place on their Bitcoin investment, some people might not be that investment oriented such that they might chose to invest any amount of their choice that is not completely depends on the amount of level of their discretionary income.

Just decide that you are going to be saving a certain percentage of your income in bitcoin and remain committed to doing it consistently and you are going to see you in a better place in the long run. fiat is already not helping us as it stands and saving in the bank is almost like keeping money that place waiting for the government to come tax it all even when they are not even helping you that much to get financial freedom to even start with. It is not necessary to give detail of the percentage of my income that i am able to leave in bitcoin but doing 50% investment in bitcoin is actually possible as long as you have a well planned financial management routine on ground that will see you through that phase.

I understand the current situation in the country very well, so I have been buying Bitcoin with Naira for a long time, which was my pre-planned decision. However, before investing in Bitcoin, every Nigerian should have a source of income and whatever money is left after meeting basic expenses and needs can be invested. You are right that dividing the monthly income into four parts and investing one part seems reasonable and it is right that allocating a part of the discretionary income to Bitcoin investment can be an easy way for us. However, everyone should have a financial plan to manage this investment process properly and in my view, holding should be for the long term.

The challenge some people have is they don't have a stable income
It is not about having a stable income, if they earn any amount of money, how much percentage from it will they be able to invest in bitcoin, that is the reason I said if it is monthly they earn, they should divide it by 4 to make the weekly calculation. Diving it by 4 is not necessary because they will still get the same percentage but I just want to let people know that it not not necessarily a week investment. It can be a day, 2 days or more, a week, a month, 6 months, a year investment interval. If you don’t have stable source of income, it will still not work perfectly for you to be using 25% of your income in Bitcoin investment because if you use 25% today and keep 75%, and you stay months without work or without earning any money, if you are done using the one you have and have no alternative, you will be forced to use your savings which is normal; so it is good to have stable source of income before you can rely on investing weekly or monthly. Bitcoin investment is not for the weak, so you need to hustle money before you can invest in Bitcoin especially if you want to hold for long period of time because selling within short period of time can lead you to losses that you might not account for due to how volatile the crypto market is.

We don't have much Civil Servants in the forum but we have more self-employed youth here. And self-employed is like hand to mouth on this current economic structure in the country. So for someone to set an investment plan on bitcoin foe him sef is not an easy thing to do. But if person na big business person den him go fit buy bitcoin weekly. As for me I don't buy bitcoin weekly but I buy whenever there is money.

This thread is not for the weak people that will buy bitcoin today and sell bitcoin tomorrow, we are holding for years.
We would also use this thread to discuss about bitcoin price frequently.
Hold bitcoin for retirement time, hold bitcoin during the lifetime.
We hold bitcoin we hold value.
Naira? You all know better.
You have recommended investing by dividing your weekly income into 4 parts. Most investors will not be able to implement the attitude you have expressed about investing from the income part. Your strategy is possible for investors who have multiple sources of income and have a stable income. And in this way if an investor can deposit Bitcoin for the long term they can increase the holding as expected. Bitcoin investment is a strategy suitable for all levels of investors. Here is a suitable way for investors of every income, rich or poor. Regardless of weak or strong investors, everyone can invest in Bitcoin. Poor investors should accumulate Bitcoin through discretionary income weekly rather than implementing the strategy you have given. Your strategy will have a negative impact on daily life and giving excessive importance to Bitcoin accumulation is likely to make investors poor. And poverty increases the risk of withdrawal compared to keeping Bitcoin holdings safe. Therefore, discretionary income and the DCA method is perfect for long term Bitcoin investment.

Poor investors should accumulate Bitcoin through discretionary income weekly rather than implementing the strategy you have given. You did not get this correctly. Read this If your weekly income is $100, but your discretionary income among it is $50, but you are able to afford $20 from the $50, that means you can invest $20 on of your income on bitcoin. That makes it 20% of your income.

We are always expected to invest in Bitcoin with our discretionary funds, which are known as leftover money, after we have solved our important needs. So, the money that is left can be used to buy Bitcoin. Weekly or monthly investment plans should always depend on the money left after essential needs have been taken care of.It is very possible that we will not always have equal amounts to invest in Bitcoin, especially for those who have families. During periods when their children are going to school, it is possible that the money spent during that period will be more than the money spent during periods when their kids are not going to school. For this reason, the money supposed to be used to buy Bitcoin weekly or monthly may not always be the same amount.Someone trying to be too smart by forcing themselves to rush their investment may end up selling their Bitcoin investment again at the wrong time.

Yeah, it’s good to invested in the Bitcoin weekly or monthly but it depends on how much you earn every month or weekly. Because we can see some people are earning big amounts of money and still they cannot afford to use divide it for them to take some parts into investments why? Is because the problem already waiting their salary, that’s they couldn’t afford to invest in the Bitcoin weekly or monthly. If not when a person plan well and get to buy Bitcoin every week; and able to hold it for a long period of time before selling it they will achieve a big return on their investments.

I have edited the OP: Some people are complaining that not everyone can invest on bitcoin weekly or monthly, please do not derail this topic with that. This thread are for bitcoin holders, speculating the price of bitcoin and how bitcoin price will be increasing. It is not necessary to invest in bitcoin, please do not derail this topic with such complaints.
If you earn $2000 throughout the whole year, and you invest $200 in bitcoin throughout the whole year, that is just 10%. If you know that you can not invest up to 10% and you want me to add 1%, 2%, 5% to the poll, I can add it.
Happy hodling.

As you mentioned, we have been seeing Bitcoin prices fluctuate constantly, but when the price of Bitcoin briefly rose above $95k at the beginning of the new year, we thought that the market might reach higher in the new year. In fact one negative news we have seen this year is that Donald Trump has threatened to impose new tariffs on several European countries due to the Greenland dispute, so at this stage it seems that this may be why the price of Bitcoin has been falling briefly recently. The price of Bitcoin is falling due to Trump’s new tariffs on these European countries, which has created one of the biggest opportunities for us, including Nigeria, to buy Bitcoin at a low price, so if everyone has emergency funds and discretionary income, I think it is reasonable to aggressively buy this electronic currency.
