The question is how much bitcoin can you hold weekly from the income you earn weekly? If you earn monthly, just divide the amount by 4, what percentage from the income can you use to invest in bitcoin?
Investors should determine their investment pattern based on their income. For a poor investor it would be appropriate to prioritize their basic needs and then save 60% of their funds in Bitcoin. For middle-income investors, it would be better to increase the percentage of Bitcoin accumulate even further.
Accumulation the remaining funds for emergencies. This is how I structured my Bitcoin plan because the amount of spending will not be the same every week. After spending money for yourself and your family dividing the percentage from your discretionary income is a good way to invest for the long term.
This idea of saving %60 of one discretionary income in bitcoin is very wrong. It is our discretionary income that is what should be invested in bitcoin and not %60 of our income. Unless you want to say %60 of our discretionary income. Before anyone should think of investing in bitcoin they should be able to figure out whether they discretionary income and how much is it. Before thinking of what percentage of it they would like to invest in bitcoin.

I agree with you. People should consider Bitcoin or other types of investments using their discretionary income, not using ridiculous percentages of their income, after division of expenses, after paying rent, food, transport, bills, family costs, and living costs is all settled, what is left is what you are free to invest.

Sending people to put 60% of their income is mainly explaining theory without considering the expenses, and many people face financial pressure daily. Nobody should have to sacrifice their ability to survive and care for their family because you want to follow an investment plan, and what is the plan for that income in the first place? That is just not a good financial advice. Investing is meant to improve your future and not endanger your present.

It is also necessary to consider each person's, everyone's situation is different, so the amount you want to invest should depend on what is truly affordable after things you need are covered. That is the only sustainable and sensible way you should think about Bitcoin or any possible investments and long-term strategies. You can do any investment after your budget have been taken care of, because enough air for everyone is the most sustainable resource for tomorrow's opportunities.

Right now the best thing na to hold bitcoin, and be buying more, now that we have a dip in the region of 76k and somedays ago we had Bitcoin at 73k, that is a buying opportunity if we can stay consistent in buying Bitcoin this period and when the price start to correct I think it will be a massive increase in the so much profit that most people are anticipating, well it’s also important to be very careful with our investments, and avoid missing out on opportunities, because now that there is a dip in the price of bitcoin most people will be taking that opportunity and they will believe that the profit will come immediately but they must have forgotten how all this things actually does work which could become a huge challenge for them because they are short term investors, I will always advice investors to always keep investing and holding Bitcoin don’t panic and sell instead they should buy more and continue holding.

If you earn $2000 throughout the whole year, and you invest $200 in bitcoin throughout the whole year, that is just 10%. If you know that you can not invest up to 10% and you want me to add 1%, 2%, 5% to the poll, I can add it.
You go need to adjust dat poll to include low percentages be dat bc dat $2k per annual nor too dey realistic for we kontry. You go use minimum wage take do am per annum. Dat go be around $800 – $1k. This is a local board and Karl_3000 has done well to be updating the price in NGN. I do not see any need for us to be engaging in discussions with the $$ equivalent, lets proceed the discussions with its naira equivalent, I guess it would be more original and fun that way.

I am a very big fan of holding BTC, I have some stash myself and keep growing it at intervals. Long-term sounds like a very good deal to me. If holders have done it in the past, then we can do the same now and hopefully we would enjoy the benefits in the future. I believe we should also be discussing the difficulties of holding as Nigerians and ways to be better holders.

Like I faced difficulties of money made not being enough with respect to great responsibilities on my shoulders as a first son and was only able to see front when I learned to schedule a budget for every responsibility and shift its excesses to the next month. This enabled me to save, invest into bitcoin and become more in control of my expenses.

I will also prefer the use of naira while the dollar price can be in bracket. Coinmarketcap, Coingecko, exchanges that you can change its balance to naira can all estimate the price of bitcoin in naira.

You're right, you know back then when the price of bitcoin is still at the range of $118k-$120k alot of folks where complaining that the price is too expensive for them, now bitcoin have just make things possible for everyone I believe there will be no excuse of the price being too expensive. Though it's not going to be a thing of surprise seeing that most people did not utilize this opportunity because some people are known for giving too many excuses, these set of people might be the one to say. I'm scared of investing now because who knows if bitcoin will go from here but that's wrong, these era we are now is when we should be buying aggressively because we don't know how long these would last.

Yes, the situation we are in now is now the time to buy aggressively if we have enough Naira savings. In fact the price of Bitcoin has reached below the $70k dollar or ₦96,625,052 level and has reached its lowest level after 2024, so right now, those who have enough fiat currency savings, that is, Naira savings, are going to benefit because I think this correction in the price of Bitcoin may be temporary. Even we should all know that if we are patient, Bitcoin will become a store of wealth In fact, the BTC market has collapsed due to geopolitical violence and the best opportunity to aggressively purchase Bitcoin with our local currency.

I think this is a temporary price drop. The aggressive decline that is happening now may be due to liquidity from some institutional investors or whales. Or as you said it may be due to geopolitical instability. But Bitcoin has fallen like this before but the price recovered within a very short time and touched multiple ATH. The price is continuing to fall below the current $70k and this fall is likely not to happen again anytime soon. The lowest price level may fall to $60k -66k. Even at this time investors who continue to buy Bitcoin regularly are really smart investors because they are using their time wisely. This is a huge opportunity. If you continue to buy Bitcoin through local fiat it can provide you more returns than the desired amount in the future.

Look at the aggressive decline in the market, accordingly I can say that traditional investors are buying more through local currency so if we also have our country's local currency then it is the best option to buy aggressively. Given the current Bitcoin sentiment, many are becoming more negative towards this currency, but those who have sufficient fiat or Naira reserves will generally consider this period as an ideal time. You are right that Bitcoin has fallen like this before but the price recovered within a very short time and touched multiple ATH. The market touched $60-$61k today but now we are seeing it turn around from there. However, if Trump takes a more dovish approach, such as keeping interest rates high or increasing political violence, many experts are predicting that Bitcoin will fall further.

It is very good for people to be negative towards crypto. You can see the altcoins have fallen when bitcoin was above $100,000, they are only falling more this time. Crypto is like a scam or gambling, only few coins like bitcoin are the ones that can be used as investment.

I will not advise anyone to buy bitcoin with all there money, they can buy more gradually as time passes by. Bitcoin is now above $70000, but I do not think bitcoin is going above $75000. We are still in the bear market.
