It is better for us to also talk about trading and also correct people that are saying trading is profitable. Those that have been trading and holding, traders look for fast money but holders are the ones that are earning the money. So we can use the opportunity to correct them that holding bitcoin is better than to be trading, while trading is very risky.

I don't think that it's proper to be saying that trading is bad, the only problem is that people venture into it blindly, just because they believe that they can make money from it very quick.
What I have understand about trading is that you will be brutally punished if you enter blindly, but if you knows how to read the chart and the market generally, you can never blow your account, especially when you take only the best trading set up, not by trading anything you see in the market.

Of course to some people it is bad, people have there opinions bro, so they should be allowed to make their opinions known to the public, can you tell me the main purpose of trading if not for profit, athough you correct about the way people go after trading, when you talk come across an experience trader as they call it, they will tell you that trading is not actually what some people thinks it is, they will say that trading is more of skills and patience not actually a way of getting money fast sometimes I argue the quick money aspect because if traidng was designed to be like that, it would have not been viewed as short term ventures which are likely approach for quick money making.

Holding bitcoin is always a better option than trading, it is worse for inexperienced traders who keep enriching exchanges and other platforms.
When you hold, you are freed of the emotional unrest that comes with trading, which is worse with those who don't trade only with little amounts the can afford to loose. Holding has allowed me concentrate on my other hustle points and not worry about loosing my money since I meet the same quantity when I return to my wallet, so holding bitcoin is much better, especially for newbies in cryptocurrency.

You can't avoid talking about trading where Bitcoin investment is being discussed because their are so many folks here that buys and sell once their is an increment in it value, and still thinks that they are investing, which is not true, so taking trading discussion away entirely from Bitcoin investment thread makes the discussion tasteless most times, since we are all here to learn from each other.

So am sorry if you think quite the opposite because it's a lot better when both are discussed and comparison are being made, than focusing only on Bitcoin investment.

Some people may not like trading discussion to be included because they see trading as something that is very risky. Some people on this forum among us Nigeria would have traded before, maybe they do not have a good experience about it than losses. But I do not think there is anyone that will say he hold bitcoin in long term and still in losses. The facts are there on the bitcoin chart. Even if trading will be talked about, I will prefer it to be discouraged on this thread but another thread can be created for trading discussion.

I think, you should go and open a new thread for trading if you want to discuss about trading because discussing trading in a hodli topic is off topic. This thread should be all about encouraging new investors to buy and hodli since that's the beat way to benefit from bitcoin. Trading is the opposite and should be discourage by not bringing it up here.

The thread title is an inspiration for us only for holding Bitcoin. op You are right that it would be good to correct those who inspire others through hints about trading. It is better for us to avoid risky strategies like gambling.

Some traders who have made profits multiple times can share their experience. But for others, it is almost impossible to make profits from trading because most of the estimates of experienced traders are not perfect. In that context, it will not be easy for a new and intermediate trader to make profits from trading. Although some may be lucky and can make small profits but most of the time they lose.

Long term Bitcoin holding is better than those risky strategies. Focus on Bitcoin through discretionary income and continue holding for the long term regardless of the price.

If am not mistaken newbie has been warned severally to stay off trading which I believe is of their best interest. But despite that many of them are still testing their fate thinking to hit the jackpot through it. But funny enough how most of them has been recording constant lost without learning. However, no need of stressing further, I think experience is just the biggest lesson anyone can ever learn from in life.

My bro, you don't need to mention. The stress in trading is so annoying and I can't advice anyone I swear. Not all traders looks for fast money and trading isn’t as easy as others thinks to be honest. Some traders just pick interest in the activity and not the quick profits aspect but mind you in any risk a man take there is always profits at the long run if not why would a man take such risk, money might be among the factors why many traders trade but some just have little interest in the money at the start and focus on building up themselves for future.

 Trading is risky and very difficult, it not just how we see it in the internet it more complicated than that but holding is just less risky and more stress free than trading.

I do understand the angle you are pointing out, but I don't really think that it is a good idea to include trading in all of the Bitcoin investment conversations. To me I think it actually kind of mix up two different approaches. One of the approach is more about being patient and long term accumulation,  and the other approach is more about short term and always trying to time the market which can be really exhausting. When this two approach is always mix up in discussions It may confuse a lot of newbies who are still figuring out what approach they really want to take.

Also, it's not every thread that has to cover everything. And focusing the discussion on Bitcoin investment does not really make the conversation tasteless, it simply keeps the conversation on point and purpose,  because sometimes it is better to keep things clear so that people who are still learning will know exactly what is being discussed. There are many other threads where trading strategies can be discussed without even distracting long term perspective.

No one is shutting down trading talks, it is just about keeping things organized so that everybody can learn properly without mixing things up.

For this bear season, let's assume that the market will still go dip down to $50,000 and we miss see this one coming at anything before the Year runs out, we should still experience more fall on the market before we are completely out of this present season and batch into the bull run again fully, one thing I like about cryptocurrency is that bitcoin will always perform in its due season and make everyone to be profitable as long as we position ourselves in the right place to take advantage of every season.

Some people are complaining that not everyone can invest on bitcoin weekly or monthly, please do not derail this topic with that. This thread are for bitcoin holders, speculating the price of bitcoin and how bitcoin price will be increasing. It is not necessary to invest in bitcoin, please do not derail this topic with such complaints.

If you earn $2000 throughout the whole year, and you invest $200 in bitcoin throughout the whole year, that is just 10%. If you know that you can not invest up to 10% and you want me to add 1%, 2%, 5% to the poll, I can add it.

I honestly understand the point of this thread, and I agree with the main message behind it. A lot of people enter Bitcoin with a short-term mindset, expecting instant profits, then panic the moment the market drops. Long-term holding definitely requires patience, discipline, and conviction, especially in a volatile market like Bitcoin.
That being said, I still think the percentage someone invests should depend on their personal financial situation. For one person, allocating 10% of their income into Bitcoin might be very easy and sustainable, while for another person, even maintaining a consistent 2–5% over several years could already be a huge achievement. At the end of the day, consistency matters more than trying to force an aggressive percentage that may not be realistic long term. Somebody investing small amounts steadily for years will probably outperform someone investing aggressively today and quitting tomorrow because of pressure or volatility. The real flex in Bitcoin investing is not just about buying alone, it’s being able to hold through multiple market cycles without losing your mind or folding under any slight pressure.

Is not that discussing about trading related issues is a bad thing but mixing it up with Bitcoin investment thread is a bit complicated especially for newbies. However, it could mislead them in choice of doing the right thing. Yeah you are right, when you are trading you are taking a very big risk, but when you are accumulating bitcoin and then holding it for a very long time, you are not taking a big risk. One of the reasons why bitcoin investment is risky is because of the volatile nature of it, however, holding for a very long time does not get affected by the volatile nature of bitcoin but when you are trading bitcoin the volatile nature of it will always affect you and that is why it is very risky to be trading bitcoin, the best way to invest in bitcoin and be sure of your profit in the future is to accumulate and then hold for a very long time. Trading is a short term investment and is not good for bitcoin because of it volatile nature.

Whether for beginners or experts it's never easy for anyone just that those people that understand it to a great extent know how to manage the risk compared to how a beginner would do, beginners always suffer lots of loses before they could figure out how to manage the risk in it, some even give up at some point.

Good, but it is worth knowing that trading does not guarantee quick returns. In most cases, and in reality, it makes losses to be faster for most traders. The reason for my opinion is because out of 100% of the people that are trading, there has been researches that suggested that 85% to 90% or more of traders are losing money. If most traders are losing money, that still mean trading is not really about profit, but about losses.

I do not think that there is may easy way of making money that can be found anywhere, if one decides to trade, that is there decision but for a beginner I will advice that it should be investment because it grows you into knowing how to follows things, a beginner learn gradually by starting from investing in Bitcoin, why will anyone even say that trading is an easy profit thing for beginners that to me is misleading, whether you are a beginner or old trader, trading  is never an easy way to get money infact it is very risky to even earn through trading, acumulating and hodling Bitcoin for a long-term is still the best decision anyone can take especially the newbies just exactly as you rightly said it.

I appreciate your view on this issue because the cryptocurrency market tends to fluctuate in cycles and usually goes through a series of severe corrections prior to having a strong rebound afterwards. When an asset like Bitcoin declines further in market value, seasoned investors will often have a different mindset regarding taking advantage of the situation and use it as an opportunity of further accumulating these types of assets instead of getting nervous about what is going on around them. When you are in or going through a bear market, patience can often yield the benefits you are seeking for those who are able to manage their risk well and stay consistent in their process will be rewarded once the next bull cycle begins and confidence returns to the markets.
