Nigeria the most popular black nation in the world that, is blessed with abundance resources including the human resources which has been a very good asset in the nations development process. But this great and blessed nation has been struggling with nation building and development this is as a result of failed government which has been due to lack of sufficient good government at all levels of governments.
This is as a result of the electorial process that brings about leadership in the country. It's clear that the electoral process has not been able to put confidence in the masses because there are doubts and concerns about the quality of elections that are been conducted. Whether you Believe or not election in Nigeria is not entirely decided by the citizens this is the reason why we are seeing the political wars that are going on in the country a good example is the Rivers political fight that has been going on ever since the conclusion of the 2024 general election in the state which was believed to be won by the Labour party but Nigeria happened and the election were declared in favour of the people Democratic party.
This has translated to what we are seeing as the political godfather ( Wike) who orchestrated things for the emmargence of Fubara has continued to be on his net for his own share of the states cake.
I want to assart that until we have free and fair electoral process were there is a level playing ground for all contestants the dividends of democracy will never be experienced by the masses. Politicians at all levels will feel entitled to the fact that they will always find their way no matter how badly they perform in office. Until leadership is given back to the masses Nigeria will continue to have terrorism, farmer herder classes, lack of power, bad roads, a struggling economy and even a educational process that is faulty.
Nigeria will only get better the day we begin to do what is right and take responsibility when it comes to voting those with vision into power, though our electioneering process is very corrupt that politicians buy their way to victory so no matter the highest number of votes that an opposition party has those in charge of the elections will sell it to them just as in the case of Tinubu, no one can overthrown him because he has all the resources that he will use to buy the process.
Will Nigeria ever be better with the way corruption, ethnicity, religion, and godfatherism have eaten deep in the country that people are afraid to come out to speak and condemn the evil that has been harbored in our country for long without them being arrested for one accusation or the other. Everyone is now living in fear so that they won't lose their life for no just cause. Because those who died for this country are not remembered, they are easily forgotten. The judiciary and the electoral process of the hope of the common man have been compromised by the Nigerian government, which has bought them off, to subdue us all. Where do we then start to get it right, because any funny move by the youths or anybody else, the government doesn't mind shooting them to scare them away, not to protest against the government. The worst, they will twist everything to be like a tribal protest of a tribe against the other tribe.
Let me tell you this for free, Nigeria is far from being better in the future. The corruption, religion, and ethnicity are what that would make it very hard for Nigeria to attain greater heights where peace, harmony, and unity will grow in the minds of her citizens
