Yes i know the coin is a dinosaur, but i found an old ass wallet on one of my ancient hdd's from like 2012, which now that i remember, had a number of them on it from way back in the day when i used to mine btc /merged with nmc diligently.

anyways, started a namecoin core up but it can't find any peers after even a day.

is there any current lists of active peers for this coin around so can manually inject and try to synch up and see what i have?

thank you

I can't find a recent and most updated thread about this. But found this old one and maybe this could give you some help that you need.

I'm not sure if it will work with you but I hope that this will be the one that you need.

Check this sub reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Namecoin/comments/n5um3d/any_peer_list_to_get_syncing_going/

If this is the same software as Bitcoin core (which looks like it is) you should be able to get your addresses and check them manually check them on a blockexplorer. If you think it is worth it, you can then export the private keys for that address and try to import them elsewhere.

I also found (by searching, didn't test myself) that Atomic wallet does support NMC and also importing private keys so you can maybe use that instead of waiting Namecoin core to sync.

P.S: Atomic wallet is not something I would recommend anyone to use and there have been a lot of suspicious incidents where people have lost a lot of money (in the millions) even though they claim to be non custodial, so... if this works for you, I'd sell the coin asap (I'm assuming that's what you want to do here).
