Maybe, but alot of people still want to remain anonymous which is not something that can be possible as long as KYC verification is being done, personally I have no problems with KYC as it definitely has it's values to and also provides a certain level of security to my accounts across multiple sites but still not everyone is like me and definitely not everyone share my opinion which means that there are still people who would want to a no KYC situation.

If you thinking about the risks, you will not use fake ID to verify your account. The providers can somehow knows that you are cheating them by sending fake IDs.  You will gets in the trouble if they found you send fake documents or stolen identities.

The casinos will checking before they verified your account. But if they suspicious with your documents, they will ask you to send other documents. If you cheats them and they know you do that, they will bans your account.

We should thinks that casinos can do many ways to verify their members. No needs to fake your documents or using others documents to verify your account to avoids the problems.

Totally agree with that. Being a supporter of KYC I find myself in the minority among the crypto gambling sites users, but I think they will understand with time that the procedure is unavoidable these days, especially if you want to help fighting criminals. If you are not doing anything illegal, you shouldn't be afraid of KYC, but criminals should.

There are already systems like this. Still baffles me how some can still fool the casino and get registered with fake documents. Maybe some sell their accounts after verification to different people. The black market is vast.

The benefits and importance of kyc verification cannot be under-estimated, but then, many of us gamblers do not like kyc verification for our different personal reasons, though for me, I've never been against kyc cus I totally understand it's benefits.

I believe most of the KYC verification includes selfie holding the valid ID that will prevent stolen ID to be used for KYC verification.

I never encountered a KYC that only allowed the valid ID picture at least to all the casino that use to verify their account since forged documents and stolen ID can be easily used.

Both sectors are busy upgrading their tools to what will work better for them at the end of the day. There is no 100% solution; scammers have taken the new advanced AI into their own advantage in terms of creating new ID casinos, and other centralized systems are also upgrading whatever tools they are using to help them detect who is using a fake ID, so it's technology against technology.

 The only way to get things solved in most cases is if the platform has access to the country database of the gambler; only then can they fully verify the authenticity of a document and if it's fake or real.

If a casino asks for KYC or identity verification, I think I will skip that casino that day. I don't like submitting KYC at all, so I stay away from those casinos that ask for KYC. Right, it actually stops bad people from doing their bad deeds and stealing others identity in order to launder money, but it does not mean people are completely comfortable with sharing their personal data and information with a service which could get hacked and our identity would be still in the hands of criminals, so it could be very counter-productive if casinos and bookies do not have a very tough security system to protect their stockpiled information.

That has to be the best system to avoid the use of fake id, a selfie has to be taken while holding up the document to make sure that it is not a stolen id..But i remember registering on some sites that just required the input alone without asking for a selfie to be snapped along side with the documents being uploaded...this is something that every sport book and online casinos need to start implementing

Maybe the casino can carry out the verification, but do you know that out there, some people trade casino accounts that have already passed KYC verification? I don’t know if the documents are genuine or fake, but the existence of an account that has been verified by the casino proves that the account has either passed verification or is indeed using real documents. I see no difference between trust the verification directly to the Casino or 3rd KYC providers. They're all being targeted by the hackers, and the safety of your data is not guaranteed. I've seen 3rd KYC providers got hacked numerous times. So why do i need to trust them instead of to the casino directly?

There are easier ways like implementing KYC on this facial recognition will be synchronized with your ID card, this is much simpler and can combat crime on a large scale for those who cheat with fake IDs, but the risks are also sometimes very large, especially if the casino does not maintain their customer data well, this can be used for other potential crimes in the future, facial recognition is very good but so are the risks.

That is true, if you don't want to have troubles sooner or later, just submit it to the casino directly. And as much as possible, submit to the reputable site and limit your exposure to unknown ones. Better if you are playing to one or couple of them, because too much exposure will be of high risk to the threats in cyberspace. As you don't know where your docs will end up with, much better to secure your info by not sending your docs to just any other site which are offering some perks and bonuses.

I think it's no secret that you can buy a package of documents or a readymade account that has already been verified.However, there is no guarantee that the account will serve the new owner for a long time, or, even more interestingly, the owner of the documents may appear and take the account and use it at their discretion, and if there were funds in it, you can say goodbye to them.
