User winspiral keep shilling certain altcoin

I noticed user winspiral[1] keep shilling certain altcoin called BCRM/BitcoinRM. Since late 2025, he created at least 63 posts and threads about it in multiple boards[2] and 136 posts many years ago[2]. This user also accused of running HYIP/ponzi many years ago[3], where he received at least 3 negative tag/feedback due to it. I create this thread as reference for both negative feedback and reporting his shilling post to moderator.

P.S. I'm considering to add flag type 1, but i'm not sure whether it's appropriate.


Here are few examples of his shilling post.

Promoting his website and that coin when the topic is about not falling to ponzi scheme.

Suggesting to mine altcoin and visiting his website, when the thread is created under Bitcoin board.

Promoting that altcoin when someone asked he was inactive.

In this post, he confirms he withdrew $0.00283. I don't even think the account is hacked, judging by his post history he's always been a shitposter.

I see he's doing the same crap in the US section. He's an old stubborn guy who doesn't understand much. His account hasn't been hacked, he's not a scammer (but don't put 1$ in his thing).
No need to create another flag, he won't understand.

I don't know if it's necessary right now since his posts are getting deleted by the moderators, but I think his account should have a trust flag as well. Perhaps a type 1? New members and guest users are most likely to fall for his crap rather than some of us, the old members, in case some posts don't get deleted.

We have faith in you since you are a forum staff regarding the 'account' not being hacked. But how do you make sure he isn't a scammer or won't scam in the future? If something happens, then victims or forum users would blame you for your statement. You may have access to check whether the accounts change hands or not, but none of us would make sure he will not scam.

I think so, since his account is already tagged; a flag isn't necessary IMO. Just better report those posts that are not appropriate based on the main thread. It would be a paid shill, or he won the token.

I think flag not yet necessary for now, already have negative feedback. If someone fall into scam then victims would create a flag.

But it is stange that among the 42 members of my project no one has talken here about concret things...

I can't predict the future.
I see Winspiral as someone who tinkers with his blockchain project in his garage for fun. He didn't create it with the intention of scamming people, that's why I say he's not a scammer.
Now, if one day his project is worth millions, I can't guarantee that he won't be tempted to do a rug pull or something like that.
