Malaysia authorities have reported that more than 13,827 illegally operated crypto mining sites caused electricity losses of over $1.1 billion by bypassing power meters and using electricity directly from the grid. These mining operations ran without paying any electricity bills, which placed significant strain on the national power grid. As a result, the Malaysian government has decided to tighten monitoring and enforcement to prevent unregistered crypto farms from abusing public resources. Do you agree with the decision taken by the Malaysian government?
