I just installed MyNode and it has finished syncing.  Now I’m trying to use it for solo mining so I can connect my miners to it.  I read that I have to download the public pool or Bassin app.  Public pool is Umbrel app and I can’t find it in MyNode market apps.  There is no Bassin too.  Please help on how to fix this. I’ve searched everywhere and didn’t find a way on how to install a pool app in MyNode.  Thanks

MyNode probably doesn't have public pool or bassin app on its marketplace. You'll have to manually deploy a mining pool yourself, and connect your own node to that. You could install ckpool or public pool from their repositories, but you'll need basic linux command-line knowledge.

You'll probably have to connect to the computer running MyNode via ssh and install the pool software there. If you have no idea how to do that, feel free to ask any questions, or to use an LLM.

IMO using chatbot/AI/LLM should be last resort, especially when you can't understand/verify the suggestion. Besides, myNode also have documentation on https://mynodebtc.github.io/ that include how to access terminal and connect via SSH.

I did read the doc guide but they dont have anything on how to add or create a solo mining pool.  Their tech support sucks so bad that they barely reply.  And mind you, I have premium support.  When they finally replied, they said to use Datum, a public beta version to be used for solo mining.  which I did installed and I point my miner to what I think its my node because it is using the myNode IP and port 23334.  But, I can see that it is getting share like 1 every 5 mins or so, that slow.  Very slow.  Same miner when i point it to public pool, gets shares so fast

The number of accepted shares is irrelevant, it all depends on pool settings and how it adjusts the pool share difficulty, one share on your pool could be worth a dozen on the other, so that is not an indication of anything.

With that said, unless you are doing this for learning experience, i would advise against mining to a local pool/node even a known stable clone of a known pool/node, let alone some beta shit.
