Making profit and feeling weird

So, since last couple days I am playing game called, 'Tower' and having a good run but I feel weird that I am not supposed to be profitable while gambling.

I am sure everyone felt such kind of thing atleast once, and this usually occurs only after we are being unlucky on so many occasions and suddenly a good run on the casino feels like do I even deserve to have the good feel and some even get anxious when good things happens often so many disappointments in life.

But everyone deserves to be happy too and that is the whole point of gambling in my opinion.

I don't know what you think of gambling....! You should consider gambling as a game so that you will feel what is called profit.

Regardless of what type of game you play, the point is that if you think gambling is a losing activity, of course you don't need to think it is profit and winning, but on the contrary, if you think gambling is part of the game, of course you understand the nature of the game.

The world of gambling does look strange, when you think A, the opposite happens, B does look strange, but that's the world of gambling, the angkring is strange so many people are competing to risk their money.

I do understand this feeling. It does feel weird if you constantly keep winning. I know it's a good thing, and everyone would love for this to happen to them. But when you keep winning, there's just like a weird feeling like questioning yourself, is this real? Cause it's something that doesn't happen to us oftentimes. Sometimes you just kinda feel like doubting the situation if there's something wrong when something unusual happens even if it's something good on your side. And sometimes you'd also start overthinking, what if after this, I'll start losing everything I won.

For me, it's a normal feeling. It's not that, you don't like to keep winning. But there's just a bit of feeling weird over something unusual. Maybe that's just our conscious self reminding us not to be too excited over winning continuously cause we end up just losing it when greed strikes.

Not sure if this is the same, but there are times when I'll realise that I am actually winning and would be surprised that it is happening. Apart from that, I don't feel any weird feeling or thinking that I am not supposed to make a profit, while you'd most likely lose most of the time when gambling, winning is still part of gambling, so the thought of "I am not supposed to be making profit" hasn't really come to my mind.

I wish I could win all the time, I don't know if I feel as weird as you mean it.
I felt this way when I made art projects, where I didn't feel the commitment on my hands and the sacrifice and I really made money.
But I've never had a similar feeling about gambling, also because I don't make big wins or big profits, I have a balanced style about earnings

This kind of mantra that we should be losing already but the opposite keeps on happening. I guess that if we're in that state, we just enjoy the moment because it will later fade and gone.

And if that's about feeling it, so it's also happening to me when I feel the same thing. I win some bets and I should be thinking of losing it already.

But if the wins are keep on coming, I'll just continue and keep betting until the first bad bet comes and that's the sign that I might enter into losing streak.

You were just feeling weird because you are getting something you did not expect our your gambling session, that is all.
If I were you, I would not give it too much importance and I would rather focus on the thing I could do with the money I managed to get thanks to my good luck. You are not getting money illegally or doing something wrong. In the same manner the casino is eager to accept deposits and keep them because of the bad luck and their house edge, they are also willing to give money when it is owed to lucky gamblers like you.

Do not over-think it and enjoy it while it lasts, as it won't last forever, that is obvious.

Why are we not supposed to make a profit? Where is this coming from? You play the game, and sometimes we win, sometimes we lose... it's gambling, it's never the same thing.

Of course, such cases happen, but players come to the game for different reasons. Those who win and feel sad were probably looking for the thrill of losing, the ups and downs, but instead found dull victories. I'd certainly be happy with any win, even if there weren't any thrills, but the game is unpredictable, and everyone decides what will happen, from a complete loss to a jackpot. The unknown always excites players, which is why many come here every day. It's just important to understand reasonable limits so you don't suddenly find yourself penniless.

The fear of what would be next, could build up fear in a player's mind to forsee upcoming losing streak. The expectance is strange, but real. Gamers do have this feeling of being in a trap when garnering multiple unexpected wins, while the results is probably loss for gamers even winning seem feary.

Where did you get the perspective that gambling is a losing game and it doesn't make sense when you win?

Well, gambling is fun and entertaining, and if, by doing that, you find yourself lucky enough to win all your games, just consider it as luck and enjoy your win.

There's no need to feel weird for real, because there are days you won't see even a single win just losses, so enjoy it.

As for me, winning is part of everything; I want to win my games even without gambling, just friendly games. So there's actually no weird feeling for me when I win. Especially when I win money.

Did you have  kid's at home? If yes" then i would like you to try this experiment. The experiment isn't a difficult one but a very simple one at that, just try putting sugar in their mouth and see if they are going to throw it out.  I'm sure they won't throw it out because it taste nice right? So that's how winning taste like, even though I'm gambling for fun yet I don't feel bad while wining. This is actually my first time of seeing someone who feel that he's not supposed to be wining in gamble because I know every body would love it even though they are gambling for fun.

I am opposite on that and so self-entitled and center of the world that i feel wins expected and deserved.

But that just speaks of my unhealthy large ego. And i think even if you are feeling paranoid about it, it might be healthier way to feel, unless there's deeper issue where you don't feel like you don't deserve anything.

When i am having a winning streak, i feel like "this is so much money that i can't lose anymore", which is a weird and false logic. Feeling paranoid about it could let me cash out earlier.

It's called a winning streak and variance, sometimes it goes far in one direction - I've had a few wins in a row and many losses in a row. There is an element of psychology and social engineering that every casino will engage in, because they want players to feel victorious and get the rush of winning, that is what gets players hooked in the first place. Since gambling provides such an opportunity to win, then regardless of whether you gamble for fun or just for fun, you have the same chance to win. And if you got a prize,  then this is the rare case when you have made a profit, which that you honestly earned it.

You just hit the nail on the head mate. As long as you're gambling you are not exempted from making profit irrespective of your intention. Anyone that doesn't want to make profits when gambling should use the demo account and do it for fun but you wouldn't be excited because you know that it's not real. Profit and loss is what makes it gambling. Therefore, accept the outcome of your bet with joy.

It seems bro you have being too use to losing  that winning and becoming profitable with the game becomes an alien expression of outcome for you.  Shake off that mentality and accept the profits as they come. Gambling is about winning and losing, and you can't always be losing just as you can't always be in profit.

I haven't had such experience and I don't pray to ever have it.

The question looks strange because almost all gamblers would be celebrating constant wins. However, gamblers are used to losses that wining couid bring a strange feeling. It's like always failing an examination constantly until you get used to it, and passing becomes strange.  Wins to me are like recovering some losses, therefore I wouldn't feel weird.

i definitely don't feel weird when I win, if anything I actually feel really lucky and if it continues like a winning streak then I just feel even luckier but I don't think I have ever felt off or weird for winning a game so I can't exactly say that I can relate to this, why would you even feel weird in the first place like you are supposed to be losing instead of winning, even though we all know that the chances of losing are much higher than the chances of winning we never really wish to lose but instead always wish to win so I definitely won't feel weird for winning.

making profit and feeling weird is a normal feeling especially when you are on a winning streak, for me I feel like when I win like that losses are always around the corner. The best thing to do is always to make sure that you don't get too greedy when you are in profit, always tske out 80 to 90 percent of your wins and perhaps you can use the rest to gamble so incase you end up losing it is not going to affect you that much, it is a game of wins and losses so always be ready to lose
