There are somethings about AFCON that would make you feel like the entire thing is just rigged, some people judge based on sentiments because their country seemed to be mistreated. just like the case about how Nigerians felt about the judgement and decisions made by the referee during their match against morroco. in things like this we must always learn to make use logic over emotions

Manipulation from where? Are you just talking about the just-concluded AFCON, or are you referring to all games in general from different leagues? If it's AFCON, arguments always happen; it's not something new again, and we should be used to it not being new again. There is always disagreement from the crowd, both teams and whatever.

Incidents like this often happen in important matches, both teams don't want to feel cheated. Morocco had a penalty opportunity in the dying minutes of the match, but Brahim Diaz made a simple chip that Senegal goalkeeper easily saved. I didn't watch the match, from some information I saw on the internet, Brahim Diaz didn't score out of respect for Senegal, regardless of respect or not, Morocco has thrown away a good opportunity considering they haven't won the AFCON competition in 50 years.

Watching the match and seen some level of breakdown of laws and order by fans is very sad though it happens between fans the game was really chaotic actually I see some errors of not building up enough security by the host nation consider the numbers or capacity of the stadium, they would have double the security and knowing too well that different characters will be there. Sorry to say this it happens in many league and player respect the action of the ref. But there are decision that will course problem that ref really need use common sense to handle awarding that penalty is a clear indication of robbery he would have done this more diplomatic or professional even before that 98 minutes, but kudos on the management team for restoring order and bring out the face of Africa because that stage of collapse is really a mess.

I didn't watched the match but i already knew that both countries will play draw and go for extra time. I watched Nigeria vs Morocco on semi final and from what i noticed they plan was Morocco to lift the trophy, but unfortunately it happened to be Senegal

I later watched the highlights of the game yesterday the referee just wan to favour Morocco, on the semi final Morocco played rough game with super eagles the referee ignored even to give yellow card was difficult for him to give, even some Europeans countries want Morocco but i'm glad Senegal did and congrats to them.

But it was a final match, which I think the incidents/chaos that occur in such an important match, are natural, although it's quite unfortunate that they have to happen. I heard that the Senegal national team's title could be revoked due to what they did before the penalty given to Morocco, I don't know if this news is true, I only know it in the local media.

The only scandal I saw in the yesterdays final match between Morocco and Senegal is that the referee tried to help Morocco get an easy and underserved win, his decision and way of officiating clearly showed that and there was nothing to hide, he was simply terrible..

And i really loved what the Senegalese players did by walking out of the pitch, how does a coach cancel a clean goal that was scored by the Senegalese side on the basis of a simply foul and still move ahead to award a penalty to the moroccan side? Thats an underserved penalty and they to moroccan people know it clearly.

AFCON officials need to understand that it's not a must that the host country will always win the cup, football is all about the best team winning and in yesterday's game, Senegal clearly appeared as the best team but the coach was clearly trying to rob them off their glory to give to Morocco.

Even when Senegal players were steaming with the decision, and walked off. They comeback again, and accept the penalty. I know they liked whinning kid, but in the end penalty was given so it's fair. Things worsen with how Morocco players were being so obsess with Mendy's towel like what?
The unbelievable thing is that Morocco ball boys are also trying to steal Mendy's towel. I was always laughing during this part. In the end, Brahim missed pen, and it's a win for Senegal.

What happened yesterday was actually nothing out of the ordinary, but my joy is that I predicted the match to end in draw play yime and once the time reach 90 minutes cashing out becomes most needed and important at that slime to give me an hedge and saving out of potential loses that may have occurred with Senegal scoring the first and only goal in the 94 minutes which is 4 minutes away from the 90 minutes time.

Perhaps the pure pleasure of watching a live game and betting should be reduced so as not to get a heart attack when things don't go as planned. Am sure those who had their bets to end by '90 lost despite their team winning and that is the time factor swaying in irrespective of whether the teams where about to fight or the stadium fans where about to become chaotic all of a sudden.

Welcome to Africa. We Africans tend to think that in our own house we are in charge, and even if there are rules, those rules don't apply because it's our home. Unfortunately, this wrong way of thinking doesn't leave our heads even when we go to live in Europe. Whenever an African organizes an event, they already think they will be the winner; they don't want to lose.

In the case of the final game, for example, it was clear to me that Morocco would do everything to be champion. In other words, they weren't only counting on the good skills of their players; they also had other things that are not morally acceptable or against the rules of football. Anyway, the game ended, and we'll see how we Africans fare in the World Cup.
