Do you have any Gambling Goals in 2026?

Hmm, this is like a resolution that is wanted this year in gambling, if I'm not mistaken there is already a thread where it asks for the 2026 gambling target.

In gambling, there is no need to be serious because the purpose of pleasure is not to get bigger results because winning this is impossible for those in gambling to be able to get passive income.

The goal to reduce or stop is actually in your decision, stopping may be better, it's just that I myself will not be in the near future because I like sports betting, especially with analysis that allows the chances of winning to be large. LoL Yep the point is there is no definite target, but as little as possible the gambling bankroll should be small.

Yes, its not something that you would be needing up to have some resolution or trying out to reach up some goal, not unless if you are trying out to stop just because you've seen yourself that getting addicted to it on which this is just that the right time that you would be that considering out on stopping but if we do speak about on trying to achieve numbers like profits then its not something that you do need up to do so. Why? it will be just that making you impatient or trying out to rush things up on which we know that it is really that bad for you specially it would be affecting whether your mindset and specially with your finaces. Always make sure that when you do play gambling then this is that totally in random specially if you do look and find for some leisure or entertainment then this is the moment that you would be needing up to have such involvement or activity.

On the time that you are already that lapsing out when it comes to time spent and money then this would be an another story. Always be considerate if we do speak about limitation or moderation.

I want to win more than I lose, and that's my goal for every year. Last year I succeeded, but not because I'm some kind of gifted poker player or discovered some secret system, but simply because I was lucky. Does this mean I'll have less luck this year?
Logically, yes, but considering that the "gambler's fallacy" doesn't work, it seems like previous successes shouldn't affect my luck. I'll hope for the best and try to get the most profit from gambling and betting!

Gambling goal? I will prefer to say that it should not be something like "win more" or "recover previous year loss" because when it is used to be a goal which is something to achieve then it may lead us into greedier gambler.
For me, my gambling goal is simple, it is not to repeat mistakes that I made in the previous year so I can be better/wiser gambler.
Although I believe that I can manage my gambling activity better than few years ago but I realize that I still make some mistakes so I will try to avoid of making the same mistakes.
I can say that my time management need to be evaluated and improved because I realize that some time I spent too long time in gambling.

Winning in gambling is really hard if you look at your performance honestly, or even your whole yearly record. For me, 2025 hasn’t been that good compared to the previous year.

That said, my interest and love for gambling are still there. I can’t deny though that it’s been taking a big chunk of my income, so I just convince myself that this is a hobby that makes me happy, and like any hobby, it comes with a cost.

For me gambling is just entertainment and I only allocate a small amount of money to gamble when I have some left over after basic necessities. So if you ask me what my goal is in gambling I don't have a goal but I have hope that I won't fall into gambling addiction. I hope this year like the years before I can consistently gamble responsibly so I don't turn it into a source of income that ultimately becomes an addiction.

The only thing I fear in gambling is falling into addiction. Therefore, I will strive to gamble responsibly every time I gamble and choose games I enjoy and master. Yes, I hope this year will be the same as previous years in terms of gambling, not excessive and still consistent in making gambling a form of entertainment.

Personally, I wouldn't really call them goals for the new year but changes in my gambling habit that i intend to stick to. I know my pockets would be grateful, haha.
. I would be more careful and make an conscious effort to actually have and stick to my budget as I sometimes, tend to get carried away.
. I wouldn't be so quick to receive just any "tip" from every Tom, Dick or Harry.
. Reduce the time and money spent whenever I go gambling and channel them to doing something more productive.
. Obviously, I would also love to have a lot more wins than I did the previous year.

when you tag it as goal, it makes it look like you are planning to make gambling an integral part of your 2026 and for that, i do not subscribe much to it. the highest i will consider necessary to do is to be more conscious of what i am doing so that my emotion does not get me to gambling too much and in the process get addicted. setting a goal to win more is not a goal because to start with, that is even an unrealistic goal. gambling is completely unpredictable regardless of how long you gamble and wether or not the year is just starting. the goal is to reduce on losses, be more intentional about my finance so you look at gambling more from the angle fun and enjoy every process of it so you do not push yourself too much just because you are trying to win by all means.

It is a resolution; other meanings are goals or targets, so I consider it's all about your New Year's resolution. When it comes to gambling, if we want to achieve or change, we should do it right away and not wait for specific days or dates to plan our goals or resolutions.
If you want to become a better gambler and have control over how you gamble, don't plan; just do it. There should be no procrastination when it comes to changing your gambling habits, sometimes when we ignore it becomes alarming to the point that we become helpless..

Every successful investor never forget to work with an established goal that serves as a propelling force towards his or her success, the goal established helps to keep him focused and never go astray even if challenges of different kinds tries to pull his legs. Same also is applicable in gambling, to succeed in gambling most never forget to work with such principles which is what tends to govern his gambling activities and keep him focused at all time. As for me,  before entering 2026 i have already established my goals accompanied by some principles with are primary aim of making profit in gambling.

Of course I have to have a target and aim for carrying out gambling activities in 2026, this time I will probably choose just one type of game, namely sports, from my experience doing sports gambling is a big opportunity for me.

For this year I have to really focus on sports and I have to organize my financial management in sports betting properly, how much capital and profit do I get per month? so I have to make my own charts every month, so that I don't get reckless and emotional when placing bets.
I have to start calculating capital and profits, in essence I have to have proper management of the money I spend monthly and also profits, whether I make a loss or vice versa, that is my goal for 2026.

Honestly, my goal is simple, I hope that 2026 will be much better than the previous year and I also hope that my gambling activities can be more controlled, besides that I also hope that I can still maintain my awareness when playing because that's the only thing that can keep me from doing various aggressive actions that are high risk.

Working towards a goal like this works very well when you already have it in mind. But when you just gamble for gambling's sake and your gambling record is impressive, not being conscious of maintaining a good gambling record will lead to a time when one wants to increase the amount or go after many games.

Gambling needs to be approached with awareness of doing better instead of falling into a worse state that they haven't been in before. The goal is to be conscious of doing better and not to be carried away by gambling, win or lose; just gamble with understanding.

In gambling or anything that involves money I believe everyone who indulges in those kind of activity will always have a goal to make more money or have more profit, it is normal and common but the problem is that gambling is difficult to win and sometimes some people give up because they are unable to win from it and honestly it can be very exhausting and tiring when you gamble often and yet don't see any significant profit I mean no one is always happy of losing but then I think the remedy is to always use what is convenient or comfortable for us so that we don't feel it that much whenever we don't win.

We are almost done with the first month of 2026! Nearly 3/4ths of the way through the month and I am curious to know if anyone had any gambling goals for this year. Have you stuck to your goals so far or have you slipped yet? I think this goes without saying but lets all be as encouraging as we can here and respectful towards one another and their goals. You could have a goal to not gamble as much, maybe to not gamble at all. Maybe you have a goal to gamble more often? lol Who knows! Everyone has goals, but not everyone talks about them so openly so I think we ought to get a decent turn out here.

I will kick us off, my gambling goal for this year is to pick 2 sports that I really like and make a concious effort to study them & the statistics of the teams/ sports and do more sports betting this year. My goal is to be strategic and make educated decisions after studying the players, leauges, games etc. I also have a goal to go to the hardrock at least one time with my buddies for a little fun playing poker!

I usually bet with the smallest amounts possible because I am more of a believer that gambling is meant for entertainment, not a source of income but it would be quite nice if I could hit a really really rare win, even if the prize is not as spectacular as it would be if I had bet more money, but as I said, I do it for the fun.

And another goal might be to learn a new sport. I am starting to get tired of boxxing and football. I usually switch around between casino games and sports game but it is nice to have something new every once in a while.

2025 was my year of loss and I lost about 80% of the bets I took in 2025. Because of this, I stopped gambling for the last two to three months of 2025. Through this post, I will share my goals for 2026. I don't want to allocate 2026 for gambling, but rather I want to mark 2026 as the year of Bitcoin holding. I originally allocated a small portion of my Bitcoin holdings for gambling, but I don't want to allocate 2026 for gambling, instead I have decided to hold all of my Bitcoin. So 2026 is the year of Tata Bye Bye to gambling. And I'm sure it will be difficult for me, but I have to meet this tough target for my future security and to implement my long-term Bitcoin holding plan.

Well, when we talk about gambling goals some might have making profits and reducing losses in mind but my idea on that isn't really the same, what I intend to work on is to be a more disciplined gambler and also make gambling make gambling more enjoyable and less stressful for myself. instead of gambling on casino games that I don't enjoy i would focus more sports games .
