I agree with you that strategies give you direction, it tells you where you are going and what you are chasing in the business so you do not just wake up everyday and do random things that feels productive but leads to no where because when you lack strategy, it is very easy for you to settle for small comfort and start calling it managing when deep down you know you are stuck.
