From what I understand, they are more attracted to prepubescent children than adult and may struggle with impulse control. However, pedophilia causes serious and long lasting harm to victim. Therefore, regardless of the cause and reason, child abuse must receive appropriate punishment.

Besides severe penalties, I think the government should also have program to support treatment for these individuals. Because preventing behavior before it happen protect children more effectively than simply addressing the problem after it has occurred.

it's sadden and I don't have any explanation over this, I think the government has to made a harsh law on this, any one caught abusing a child sexually should be sentence to death after conviction immediately. Its mental disorder to find a child sexually attracted.

One of the easiest solutions to end this type of abuse is to remove the religious right to control children who have no idea what the fuck is going on.  If my culture, or one that settled near me, believed men had the right to claim pre-pubescent bodies as their property (sometimes multiple times over) I would not allow it.  I would not be sitting in my home typing on my computer, I would be out rescuing those girls  in a way my broken body would allow.

I don’t know what people that abuse children think about, I don’t know the pleasure which they are going to get from doing that, it’s really a crazy act and anyone caught should be properly punished. They're either demon possessed, under the influence of excessive drugs/alcohol or just naturally evil i think most of them are naturally evil cause not everyone is possessed or influenced by harmful substances. Honestly I support what you just said, this law will not totally stop it from happening but reduce it. Lack of self control can lead to such act, let have it that at some point thoughts can come in to your our head it is your responsibility to recognize the energy such thought has or carries, when it is bad you force yourself to resist such thought by occupying it with something else, the problem is that most people don't give themselves the chance to have a second thought of whatever comes to their mind they only realized it when they must have done something wrong and give excuses that they don't know what came over them, such act of rape doesn't just happen by accident a lot of thought must have gone through them before executing it and out of lack of self control, honestly no reason is good enough for such act, it is shameful and against humanity, teenagers should always be sensitize about sex education so that people don't take advantage of them.

There’s no doubt that child rape happens to be  one of the most heinous crimes in society today, and with crimes such as this or even any other crime, justice should never be compromised by status, influence or even corruption. It’s true that mental health assessments may be necessary in some of these cases, but these shouldn’t even be an excuse, because when they begin to give attention to this, it would automatically become a loophole which offenders may use to escape the full wrath of the law. When cases like this occur, however the law of that society handles such cases are very important because at that point, the outcome of such cases becomes a kind of a test of the justice system of that society and everyone, including external bodies would be watching to see whether truly the society’s justice system is enough to protect the vulnerable or fail them.

I think some of this incident is not just ordinary.

Just yesterday, a rape report was reported and it was a male child (some months old) not even up to a year. Unfortunately, the innocent boy is dead after that terrible act. Is there anything attractive about a child less than a year old irrespective of their gender?

Even a mentally disabled person can not do such act talk more of mentally stable person. Something definitely is behind that devilish act that we don't know yet. Death penalty is the perfect punishment for that offence.

These types of cases are increasing everyday and it often involve multiple factors such as psychological problems ,distorted thinking ,lack of empathy and these offenders do this type of things without even thinking about the consequences and as we have weak law enforcement that making this problem even worse , when criminals believe that they will not be punished they will not be caught then they do things deliberately without even thinking of the result that is why investigations and trial process should be fair and appropriate punishment should be there for protecting children and maintaining people trust on the justice system of the country and the similarly this type of abuse preventing require more than punishment schools community  and authorities have to play their role in educating the children about necessary safety , children should be taught about different warning signs and then reporting any type of suspicious behavior of any person with them and a society that take child protection seriously is

That's true, its the responsibility of every one to protect the lives of the children, because whatever abuse they undergo at an early age will really affect them badly, that it would damage their lives, including their mental wellbeing and its not good for children to grow up with an incident they can't forget so soon, which can either put fear in them or make them to commit suicide and you are right, its not only government work, this responsibility applies to everyone who loves good and hate evil.

These adult who abuses children sexually have different psychological behaviours, and different social factors are involved in it as well. But nothing can excuse the abuse or damage that is being caused by them.
They mostly target children because they are very vulnerable, and sometimes they have difficulty in reporting any sort of inappropriate behaviour. Also find it difficult to recognise the abuser that is why schools, communities and families have to come forward to protect children.
Just focusing on the punishment is not good approach these incidents have become a daily life issue. Society should invest in child safety, their education, a clear reporting system and responsible adults should be there to listen to the children, and there should be effective laws to punish the abuser
