It depends how you define freedom really, because I see plenty of happily retired people these days who just worked 9-5 jobs for many years but still did plenty of stuff in those decades they were working. Many of them paid off houses in that time and now just live off pensions that they accumulated. Well it can be true to most people but there are also people who are earning a big salary every month. It's a logical fallacy. Doing business or trading is 50:50. It's fine if your business or trading get succeed, but what if it's failed? Where do you get the capital to start from the scratch without having a job. Anyone has dreaming to achieve the financial freedome, but you will never ever achieve that without having the foundation.
