The richest people are those that make money while they are sleeping, they have an investment that constantly generates money for them passively and in most cases they don't have to do anything but their money makes more money for them. Having a job doesn't make you financially independent even though it can pay the bills. Some pay bills all their life but they don't actually start up something for themselves like a business or investment, it becomes even difficult to even save money. financial freedom doesn't come by working a 9 5o 5.

Working means being an employee and being an employee for life can only provide enough for your needs, and even if you have savings left over, it does not necessarily mean you will achieve financial freedom. A job does not necessarily mean being an employee. If you are not an employee, it is still possible to achieve financial freedom.

You are referring to investment. Investment is one way to achieve financial freedom, and by investing, the future will not be difficult. This can happen if there is a business that continues to generate income for us.

I disagree, if you are happy with your life then a job is perfect for you. Many people dream of becoming a millionaire but you do no need that to be happy. Social media made people see other people and their lives and wanted more, they wanted to be like the people who they saw on social media.

In reality, what a guy wants, is go to work, work hard at work, make enough to sustain his family, come home, open a beer, watch the game, eat some ribs, watch the ESPN after the game, then sleep, that's it. That's literally all we want and that doesn't require much money. If you also own the home and the car, and can take the family to vacation 2 weeks a year, and can afford any medical bills and not have any debt and small savings aside? Man you are living the dream. That's not million dollar person, that's just couple grand a month, so it's doable even today.

We should not live our lifes based on what we see on social media platforms because, most of those things that we see on social media platforms are not actually real but fake and is a calculated attempt to mislead a huge amount of our youths and young once.

Well said, and it's true that if you have multiple source of income you'll have a chance to gain financial freedom, it's just need to managed your finances and  not to overspend your salaries, those who can divert their savings into investment or business, it gave them opportunity to make more money and to increase their savings and may give them that financial freedom once they retired.

If you have to do something else besides your job, then the biggest obstacle becomes time management. Trying to do something else besides your job for an average of 8 hours becomes really difficult. After working for 8 hours, actually don't have any energy left. However, the solution to this can be to create an income source on a small scale. But before increasing your income source, everyone should focus on their own skill development because doing business or trading without strong skills increases the risk a lot. Strengthening yourself first, then increasing your income source is a more sustainable path.

As a hustle you need a job that will pay your bills while your develop your skills or business, and when you finally set the business you don't have to quite your job, work and still give time for your business till you start making sales from your business.  Because if you stop immediately you open your business it will affect your, you need money to run the business, which your salary can give to you until you start generating income from business.

Really freedom is for self employed, when you're not under any one else's command then you're free financially and emotionally, you can travel to anywhere at any time without being questioned. That's how life supposed to be.

Gaining freedom financially is what we get after overcoming some financial problems that tends to kick us off balance, at times it becomes possible because of the works of once government. If we look at the economic system of Switzerland that is the world richest country in 2025, you will see how favourable and conducive the economy is to the average citizens of the country, where job opportunities where created and cost of living low. If once country could provide all this in abundance the way it is supposed to be, a fight for financial stability becomes very easy due to the fact that we can have more to save and invest in profitable businesses other than spending it on bills just to meet end needs.

I strongly agreed with your thoughts and its true that when governments create affordable living cost then its easier for people to get financial freedom. When people have enough amount of money and earn regularly then can save and invest there money instead to fulfill there living bills. On the other hand people should be responsible according to there spendings and they should avoid unnecessary purchasing if they plane something for future. When smart government and wise residents work together then families achieve stability and also helps societies to grow well. In the end the learning point is that both government and residents together create a future where a lot of individuals live peacefully and contributed their country for economic progress.

That affordable living environment is what our wicked leadership system can never give to us as they believe if that is giving to citizens, there will be chances of questioning on how the resources of the country is managed, so on that they are doing everything humanly possible to avoid such space exist. Imagine living in a country where once salary can not give one complete two square meals talk more of getting involved in other money consuming activities that are necessary at home.

everyone wants to build something of their own sure but most people jumping into "trading" just end up getting rekt

you think all these internet gurus pushing courses actually got rich trading no they got rich selling hopium to newbs

trading is a full time job a stressful one at that not some magic freedom button you just push

real freedom is having your sats on a cold wallet knowing you dont need anyone else to custody your wealth

diversifying income is smart but dont pretend crypto is some easy shortcut outta the rat race its a harder grind for most

be careful with that blind risk part you mentioned cause thats what a lot of people do they just ape into pumps and get dumped on

I have a relative in my sight, who worked for around 30 years in the same place, he made good money and must have saved some. He then retired from the job and now he has started his own business, he must be making money now but still he has no financial freedom. He can't resist but to work, he is punctual and it seems like, all these 30+ years of discipline and hardwork has made him a robot.

He still spends whole day doing his job as owner, he can hire someone else to do the job but he likes to do it by himself. I am also doing a job and I can't start a business unless I leave the job because I tried and I could not manage everything and alone.
