Hey Bitcointalk,

I did an hackathon this weekend to allow bitcoin companies to prove their BTC holdings / income.

- Connects an .xpub (100% safe, read-only)
- Prove ownership with a $0.50 micro-transaction
- Get a "Verified badge" + SEO backlink

Don't trust, verify. We pull data directly from the ledger every 10 mins.
It’s 100% on-chain. Real time proof of reserves.

Are you referring to message signing ?

If yes, I tried on Bitcoin Core wallet it was not supported with HDWallet, and ledger just dont have that feature.

Please confirm whether you are talking about a HD ( hierarchical deterministic) wallet or a HW (hardware) wallet. In the next sentence, you jump to the Ledger wallet example, which is the HW.
Afaik, Bitcoin Core supports HD wallets, and you can sign messages.

yes and on your link it says :

Signing messages with your Ledger device on other blockchains like Bitcoin (BTC), Solana (SOL) and others is possible but will require different tools and methods.

I was talking about HD Wallet, and Ledger (device).

AFAIK, it doesn't cf https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/a/98519 and https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/issues/10542

So to work with any wallet and reduce user frictions I've opted for micro transaction...

Sharing Extended Public Key (xpub) carries risks beyond privacy issues so it is best to share a single address.
Are you serious about the Premium $1,000/month subscription? BTW those are subscription features

You're correct about the nested and native Segwit address types. I was only referring to Bitcoin Core's known HD wallet support capabilities, and I'm used to seeing people verify signatures with that wallet in the "stake your address" thread without looking at the address type in detail.

With regard to the pricing, I agree with @hugeblack... Considering that other free & cheaper alternatives already exist in this field, if I were you, I'd lower the price for now, then gradually increase it when your platform becomes more popular.
- BTW, I only saw 5 verified addresses from 3 companies, but your platform says 14... Did I miss something?
