Have you ever wondered setting up your own node for those who are really interested in long term investment plan and financial sovereignty  running a node means that
You verify your own transactions.
You don’t rely on exchanges or third parties.
You help strengthen the Bitcoin network.
Even though because of our economy setting up a Bitcoin node my be expensive but ,for those who are truly committed to Bitcoin it's worth it, here is a step by step breakdown of setting up a Bitcoin node.

Choose how you are going to run the node.

Option A Recommended is Laptop / Desktop OS: Windows, Linux, or macOS ,RAM of 8 GB and a minimum of 4 GB is needed .Storage of 1 TB SSD .Internet of at least 5  to10 GB/day during initial syncing process is needed

Option B Raspberry Pi Low power.

2 Get the Bitcoin software (Bitcoin Core)
Procedures
Go to bitcoin.org.
Download Bitcoin Core.
Install it like any normal app.
Note only download from the official site to avoid fake software.

3 Configure for low data / storage usage.
4 Start syncing the blockchain
Initial sync can take up to two to five days so it's recommended that you use night data to save cost.
5 Secure and optimize your node.
Basic security encrypt your wallet and Use a strong password and keep your OS updated.

6 Connect your wallet to your node
Use wallets like:Electrum, Sparrow Wallet

7 Keep it running because your node is ready.

What you gain by running a node

You don’t trust exchanges or anyone else.
No fake Bitcoin can trick you.
You enforce the 21 million supply rule.

You become part of Bitcoin’s defense system
If you don’t run a node, you’re trusting someone else’s rules. If you run a node, you enforce Bitcoin’s rules yourself.

Running a node could have been the best way to utilize Bitcoin for security and privacy. Still, we also have to consider some of the conditions that we may need to fulfill before we can run a Bitcoin node. At the same time, technical aspects are the most important and challenging aspect of it, including downloading the blockchain, the device to use, the Internet connectivity, and any other needed preparation to be made alongside the procedures for running it, which many lack access to or couldn't afford to do, for any reason or other.

OP, I will just be brief here as I think you missed a very important factor to consider when setting up a node, and I believe these factors are what would even sustain the node's existence, because without them, there would be no possibility of you running it successfully. If you should think of running a node, you should put electricity first because you will need power to sustain your gadgets, so that you can run your node fully without any breakdown. Power is very important as it plays a vital role in the running of a Bitcoin node. Although they have mentioned data, I will advise for a constant internet connection, which would require you to have a good network subscription that could sustain you while running the node, because, to the best of my knowledge, not all internet or network packages can sustain the running of the node based on subscription package.
