Hi everyone,

I’ve been looking for Indian crypto Telegram groups that are still active and not filled with spam or inactive users.

There are thousands of crypto Telegram channels, but many lists become outdated very quickly. While searching, I found a curated list of Indian crypto Telegram groups organized by category and activity level:

https://telegramcryptogroups.com/blog/indian-crypto-telegram-groups/

Questions for the community:
- Do you follow Telegram groups focused on the Indian crypto market?
- How do you usually find trustworthy crypto communities?
- Do you prefer curated lists or manual search inside Telegram?

- How do you usually find trustworthy crypto communities?
Well, you're in it already and there's real engagement here. It's hard to find those crypto communities in telegram that you'll want to be that has genuine users. Because each user from different channels can just add you easily without having the need of permission to be added. That feature sucks and that's why if you're looking to get into several crypto communities in that platform, you'll only see few active users even if they have a bunch of members and they're thousands. You'll definitely question the authenticity if you're in a real crypto community channel.

I’ve noticed the same thing. I joined plenty of large Telegram groups over the years and most of them felt empty once you looked past the numbers.

For me, the biggest signal is whether people actually talk to each other and not just react to admin posts. When a group stays active without constant promotions or forced adds, it usually means the community is real.

That’s why I stopped paying attention to member count a long time ago — consistent discussion tells you much more than any statistic. Huh
Is that the same issue with Indian Telegram groups? I thouth its no more an issue with mass addind, espetially if its a channel not a group.

I do follow a few Indian-focused crypto Telegram groups, but honestly most of them don’t last long.

For me the main trust signals are:

real conversation between members (not just forwarded news)

admins actually replying to questions

low bot spam and no constant referral drops

I usually find good groups through forum discussions or recommendations from other traders rather than Telegram search itself — Telegram search is flooded with junk.

Curated lists can be useful if they’re updated regularly, otherwise they become outdated very fast. I normally still join a group and watch activity for a few days before deciding whether to stay.

I see this as an attempt to plant backlink, LOL.

Mate @Nishawa, if you're looking for authentic groups, you can find them by communicating with people from your country. The more people you know, the wider your network will expand. Look at how funny you're referring to that website, they even have "ICOSpeaks RU" at the top of the list, AFAIK, RU is a reference to Russia.

Ok, 1 suggestion for you from me, you can go to Combot, then go to the India section, you will find the top groups from your country in general (not only related to crypto).

I see your comment isn’t very helpful. You’re referring to Combot, but there are actually no active Indian crypto Telegram groups listed there at all.

My point is that there’s a lack of up-to-date and genuinely active crypto groups focused on India. If you know any better or more relevant channels, please share them.

That is because some members are just adding other members randomly. And that's why there's no real interaction with those type of channels. Even it has got a lot of numbers in it but the members are inactive and are just added by the members. The real intention is obvious that they want to grow the channel in numbers but not with the actuality that it should be. That's what promotions can do when the task is to add more people even if the added people are not really into that community and probably just came from other channels that they're part of.
