Nobody should deceive you that medical school is pointless, because even after googleing some of the symptoms you might have as an individual, AI will still tell you to visit a physician to properly diagnose you, this is because series of test will be done to ascertain the actual illness that is wrong with you. Medical doctors with experience have advantage, hence they see a case that they are familiar with, they will immediately give medications that will solve that problem, so the advancement of artificial intelligence is for the assistance of human doctors, not to face off human doctors.

Elon Musk is a clown and encourages dumbness in the world, so society becomes easier to be manipulated. We don't know when exactly robots are going to replace humans. It can take decades yet to come. By there, humans still need to study and learn to do the tasks themselves. Moreover, robots, AI and technology aren't proof fail. If a bug or glitch happens, how are humans going to solve the situation if they don't know the basics? It's too dangerous to rely all the work to automatons.

In an emergency AI may not be available, and only those who continue learning and studying will be able to survive on those harsh times, so that is an important decision you have to make for your life. Do you want to be among the mass of fools living on automatic mode, or do you want to continue working on yourself and improving your capacities?

If everything could be learned online and AI provided everything to you, there would be no university in the world and AI would not advise you to go to a skilled technician or a skilled doctor. You should stop paying attention to only crazy people and stop taking all their words seriously.

Things that need to be considered are:

1. People are finally waking up to the fact that the medical system is based on medical stuff, without nutritional stuff. Because of this, many average people are moving away from the idea of using the medical.

1.a. One thing the medical cannot do is change the results of REAL, double-blind tests. They can lie about the tests. But once the tests are performed, and advertised as they were performed, the medical can't change them.

2. Private Membership Associations (PMA) are springing up all over the place. Simply search on it. Why is this important? The US Constitution does not allow people or government to mess with a contract. And a PMA is a private contract between two people/entities, one of which might be a private medical-like organization, and the other a man/woman who needs medical-like help.

3. As medical practitioners recognize the fallacies in the medical, they will gradually move to PMAs. They will do this for more reasons than simple medical fallacies... like being to actually help people rather than being required to maintain useless medical practices. The results will be that AI will take over more of the medical, as private practitioners move out of the public medical system into the private PMA system.

4. All of this means that medical school is still advantageous, because many medical practices are common necessities for helping people. It's the drugs and vaccines that the medical system pushes that are dangerous. Why? Because many/most of them have not been tested long term for safety. A vaccine might help or seem to help initially, but may cause disasters down the road 10 years.

4.a. The disadvantage is the expense of medical schools. Presently the alternative medicine schools are expensive, as well. And they haven't generally adapted to the ideas of the PMA. But this will change, because simply using the PMA makes one aware of the methods for fighting the medical when they try to stop you from using alternative medicine. And medical license removal is not the disaster that it was previously.

5. Some countries (China, Asia in general) have been using nutritional and others practices that are saving people's lives and quality of life a lot better than Western medicine. So, let the AI have their spots in the medical, while the real doctors move on to the PMA and do real healing and saving of lives.

There are some things that AI can't do, which they are created to assist the humans in a way that their works will be easier and faster for them, which they achieve their goals by working together and not to replaced human.

What's this obsession with AI taking over people's jobs?. I don't rule out the possibility, but common, the medical field is not a thing to toy with. We all can easily accept mistakes from AI while making personal research or doing things that are not life-threatening, but when it comes to the case of life, mistakes are not even a normal discussion.

The pervert is correct!  The human body is extremely documented and non-changing.  An AI surgeon can go in there to make micro incisions without needing the skills to avoid running through a red light.  It can adjust to a beating heart faster than a human and does not slip with too much blood.   My point being just because some areas of AI are having problems does not mean they cannot be solved.   It's not like the AI surgeon will suddenly hallucinate a tumor and cut it out without human approval.

Life is not defined by hierarchy - that is a man made invention.  Governments are already planning for UBI (Universal Basic Income).   While I'm joking about being so lazy as to wanting help lifting my fork, people who now rely on hospice care in a nursing unit can spend their last days in comfort at home.  Worth it?  I think so.  Star Trek is actually a good example of UBI in action.

I’m not sure medical school can ever be pointless even if other schools become pointless just because of advancement of artificial intelligence.
The truth is that even if in few years later, if Ai are then designed to perform human surgery on people, 99% of people will never agree to that. Even in this present year we know how artificial intelligence is not always 100% correct, talk more of allowing them to perform surgeries that can be very delicate on human bodies, when mistakes are bound to happen and that can never be trusted because it concerns one’s life.

For me I don't see it as something that will make medical schools pointless, this AI isn't that bad it can help doctors, to make work more easier and accurate but can't be used when it comes to the life of humans or taking full responsibilities of human life. You see this medicine isn't about you being skilled or you have data to go through the internet for answers rather it needs humans professional option and serious care.

Even though at the end of the day, technology becomes more advanced, doctors will still need guidance, supervision and also make final decisions, so rather than changing doctors or replacing them, AI we all know will only change how they work.
