I’m starting this poll to understand how many people here have been affected by crypto scams. Over the past few years, investment fraud, fake exchanges, and wallet drain scams have become increasingly common.

I personally went through a significant crypto scam and understand how confusing and stressful the situation can be, especially when transactions are on-chain and irreversible without proper investigation.

Hundreds of people have been scammed on this forum.  OgNasty tried to buy advertising on my website with these garbage shares/seats, so I answered Yes.  His clients are begging for distribution while he sits on millions in embezelled funds.

Been victimized by fake cloud mining before, so I dug deep and figured out that Cloud mining is now the new Ponzi scheme. Scams take so many forms, but they always rely on deception. If you know how to look for the right platform, you can bust all these pretenders and bad actors.
If you've been victimized once, it's time to do your research. But getting victimized a second time could mean you never learn and didn't study how these scammers work.
If you've been victimized a third time, it's better to give up investing, because it is not for you.

We have the same experienced with fake cloud mining. In my earlier days in crypto, besides playing with faucets, I also searched for cloud mining. My friend said that was profitable and he can made many satoshis. My mistake is not verifying but just following his step without think much.

We've been naive in thinking that this time will works. The result is just the same and we losing money. But that will not stop us searching for others until we really realizes that we must stops and search for other ways.

Besides cloud mining, I have been a victim of scam projects. I didn't researched who was behinds the project and other things and just sent money to them. But after waiting for some months following their roadmap, they become difficult to contact, and slowly disappear one by one.

It feels bad but I can't get back and just sit down in my chair. I realized that there is no fast money coming without works.

Thousands of crypto users have been scammed, you will find many on this forum who have been scammed in various ways. There was a time when ponzi schemes were easy to scam and the number of these victims was huge. Scammers steal funds safely, but due to the lack of proper investigation, most of those funds cannot be recovered. Crypto users are still being scammed in various ways. Scammers change their scam tactics over time, but their intentions don't change. I have also been a victim of scams in many ways and lost a lot of money, I know how painful the pain of being a victim of scams is.
