Can someone give me some information about the TiDEX crypto exchange. Grok says it even had Wave involved in its founding in 2017. What happened to him since then. Does it only work as a Scam today, or is there anyone trading on it?

I must have come across that exchange back then a couple of times though I never personally used it or traded there. Given the time span, a lot can change especially with the fact that waves lost the hype

As it is, this platform has become a scam because the main domain site leads to another domain which becomes an unclear betting site.

While on X there is no announcement about the closure of this exchange, so it may be true that Tidex is a scam.

They have blocked old accounts and converted all coins into dollars. To unlock them, they require you to transfer 3% of the balance in your account to an address that cannot be verified because it is not your TiDEX wallet.

I opened an account with Wave Hipe and loaded some coins onto it, but completely forgot about it. Now I wanted to log in, but first I had to fill out a form. I received permission, but I couldn't make any transactions. They say the account will only be activated if I deposit another 3% of my current crypto balance.

My advice to you is not to rely on Grok as your primary source without verifying the information or the links it directs you to. You must do your own necessary research. Many people have fallen victim to fraud simply because they trusted this AI bot.

Any exchange platform, regardless of its reputation, that requires a deposit in order to allow withdrawals or activate your account should be considered a clear scam, because no legitimate platform would do this.

Agreed, this is absolutely a scam. Hopefully OP had the good sense not to transfer any coins to them.

I took a look at the domain history and the site was re-registered and updated last year, so there's a good chance it has been sold to scammers.

OP be wary of all exchanges out there: 90% of random exchanges or swapping services you find on the internet are straight-up scams. Be sure to do research on a website before sending them any money.
