Nigerian politicians are the problem we have in Nigeria today, they’re a huge problem to the citizens of this country, Politicians are the reason why Nigeria is a mess today, President Bola Armed Tinubu is a very huge problem to the Nigerian government, he is the reason why the country isn’t growing his policies are terrible, nothing seems to be working in Nigeria, when he stopped subsidy he said he was going to use that money to build the country mostly on infrastructure and social amenities and right now he is using that money for no purpose instead they embezzle the money for other different purposes that doesn’t add anything to the countries growth, the money is given to Dangote for there selfish reasons and mostly using that money to empower his ambitions for 2027 Presidential Campaigns, how will a country grow when things like this are still happening in a country like Nigeria, The country is a total disaster and we have a problem with people like Tinubu and Wike.

The way you talk just be like say you no dey naija, if person tell you say politicians no dey embezzle government money you go believe am? Sincerely, here in Nigeria, I don't know what we can classify our politics to be, it is just too bad. We are far from practising democracy, which is said one of the best political system and our country is practising. Offcourse, we are blinded by the love for money, greed has taken a grip on us that we no longer think straight but remain selfie.

Some leaders came into political activities, with aspirations to lead well and serve the people, but before they entered pffiyl, they must have sworn alligience to some godfathers and people who are money and power driven. So they might sit there in the office, but are just figure head leader's, while the main leaders are in there houses controlling the office. I believe there are still good leaders who are not ready to kill to be there, bt I would say the ratio is 5:95... 5% good, 95% bad and power driven

If we are to ask such questions, how much do you think the salaries of our politicians are that they go about spending billions in and outside the country when the have are lot of needs to meet up to in there families. Have you asked yourself, why do all leaders always fight to go back to there sit, do you think they left there documents of important valuable in that office before the expiration of there tenure in office. The only reason is they are getting themselves enriched with public money that is the main reasons they can do anything humanly possible to get back to power even if we don't want them.

My own be say faithful politicians dey very rare. In fact, most of them be the same thing. I no believe say dem dey there for our benefit, na their own pocket dem dey look out for. Everything wey dem do na for their self interest, not because dem really care about the people or waiting dem promised us.

Before election, dem go bribe us and promise heaven and earth just to get the power. But once we don choose dem finish and dem don settle for office, dem go forget the people wey vote for dem like say we no exist and na we make them get the position. Na so the system be, and na why many people don lose trust for politics, like me I don’t think I all ever waste time to vote again. See our president the man, the man is old, yet he still wan go for another four years.

Don't you know is that money that is making them to go after those seat, if there is not any money honestly most of them will not still be in that position today, they will get themselves another way. Many people will say because of power, yes because if they are there no one tell them what to do there, and also take what they like. As it stands, i can only boost of few reputable politicians with a good record, Alex Otti and maybe Sim Fubara, i said maybe for Sim cause he's switched to the corrupt ruling party and could be used like a puppet for his new political godfather, Tinubu. Alex is so far the best and he's setting a good standard that others could emulate but corruption won't make them do the right things.
 It's become so bad that many people are so desperate to go into politics so they'll comfortably steal public funds without giving account  for it since they belong to the ruling party, Nigeria is a shit show and the only way things can change is serious reformation. As for Wike his karma is near.

No need to say may be in the name of the Governors you mentioned because they are actually doing well. Alex Otti has done so much for his Abia State people mush more than what the rest of the Governors they have had has done this is because he is not been controlled by anyone as a godfather and to Sim Fubara, he's a good guy but the power that brought him to the office is making sure that he doesn't work well because of the peace they are depriving him because he doesn't want to keep giving them Rivers State money. This thread title is funny some how, if I may ask which government money is that and who's the government, me you and the politicians right, I rather say the politicians embezzles the pubic money money because if you look at it from a good point of view, you will agree with me that politicians are elected in elective positions to serve the public not actually the government, so any money they embzle should be tagged public funds.

It sounds silly because a child of 10 years old already can tell how corrupt politicians are, I don't expect suc title.

Yes, they have turned it into family business, which they don't even want anyone to come close to power, they all want to be a charge, they are embezzling our funds, why should they even consider having their family member at that position after them, if not because of what they are doing. I found it difficult to believe anyone among them not a specific party but all the parties, because for years I have given so much trust to some of them but I end up seeing disappointment, so honestly I am fed up when it comes to vote.

I don't think this particular system we are using in Nigeria will be the one to set us free, because even though you elected your mandate and unfortunately he wins, if the Elite did not support him, the Court will remove him and bring the person of their choice.
