Do you believe politicians embezzle the government money

Government embezzlement of public fund is not what we believe,  but it's what we know that exists in Nigerian Government. We have seen different politicians or public officials been charged with embezzlement of public fund even if most of them are nort persecuted for it.

In my own view I really don't think that we have faithful politicians in this country,  rather we just have some that steal with conscience. I believe our politicians only try to obtain power, so they can steal public funds rather than working for the people, that's why they do everything possible to get in power. Have you ever wondered why they rig elections? How will you rig yourself into power when the people don't want you and you still claim that you are their for the people, the truth is you are their for yourself, that's why you do everything possible to get in office.

I don't think there is a faithful politicians in this country ,and embezzling our money is not longer a new thing again,it's not about instinct but it's the actual truth,some misused of funds yet they haven't given any reasonable point what the money is been used for, they buy properties here and there,have so much investment while the poor masses suffer,yet once is during election again ,they will give people peanut to be voted which many will still do ,that is why ,we have remained in the same circle for a very long time ,so embezzling our money is not longer a news again but a normal routine for our politicians.

Who told you that we don't have sincere politicians anymore. Bad politicians have made it seems like there are no sincere politicians in this country, but actually there is still politicians who are faithful and haven't embezzle public money but they are very rare. Our politicians are corrupt but we cannot tag every politician in the country as corrupt, only that majority of them are very corrupt.
Embezzling of public money has been happening, it a normal thing and the government can't do anything to stop it. We have heard stories of snakes and monkeys swallows money  but we know the truth as to what has happens to those money. Politicians embezzle money daily in Nigeria,when they are caught or arrested by the EFcc,the court will aid them from been prosecuted by law enforcement ageency.

All Nigeria politicians embezzle money there's no politicians that's a saint in Nigeria, but I'm not bothered with that because majority of people here would embezzle public funds if they are in the positions our politicians are. If Nigeria politicians, as they are embezzling money they are providing basic amenities for the people they are representing, people wouldn't have complained about how they are embezzling public funds.

They will embezzled the whole project funds without thinking about the people, that's the difference between Nigeria politicians and others, other countries politicians will do the projects and enjoy the extra fund they added in the budget.

It is very painful to see that every politician who gets in to office forgets what should be their primary assignments which is to protect the interest of the people they are representing but hell no once they get in there they put first their personal agenda which is to embezzle public funds and living the poor masses to be wondering about, every one want to show their talent of how best to steal public funds, corruption is increasing in a high level and I hate to talk about politics to an extend as it leaves me very angry with the way things has been going. Very funny how the politicians are willing to answer the bad name.

It is true that not every politician out there is corrupt, but that statement only applies to politicians across other nations!! certainly not like a country called Nigeria. Embezzlement has been a constant issue in many governments. The generalized belief is that all politicians are guilty of embezzlement no matter how hard they try to down play it or play innocent. But in a fair manner, there are still some who genuinely serve with integrity!! but they are rare and they are overshadowed by the actions of those who misuse public funds.

The answer is no because we cannot point anybody except the person who would do the pointing is a fellow politicians because is someone who operate on the same field will be able to no who is corrupt and who should be more trustworthy because left with all of who are not a politician apart from the ones that have been publically knowned we can't really be certain of who is saints among them but however what we no is that even if they are there but they will not be many. Everybody is aware of every intention of any of them that says they are contesting for an election.

No, that's a worst way of describing politics as a trade by barter system. You're saying the citizens exchanges their rights for what?  Politics is a game of numbers and popularity which ultimately is about power possession for the distribution of resources based on who gets what, when and how, according to Harold Laswell.

Politicians are a bit off in their thinking from how every other person thinks, first for them is about interest, then their words ain't what you hold but their actions. And by actions we can be able to differentiate the bad corrupt ones in our respective societies from the good ones who are mostly few.
