This is a really generic question. But I wanted to Ask that Can Bitcoin really thrive?? Can it thrive in a world where The "Ultimate" powers like a currency which can be Manipulated, taken interest from, which is in their control, but Bitcoin is the opposite of it. So if it doesn't work in "their" interest will they let it thrive in the world?? Won't they show it as bad?? Won't they try to take it in control and Manipulate the price like Trump is Doing. And what steps should we take to stop that from happening.

You can check history of Bitcoin like when it was created, grown up with time from adoption to market growth in trading volume, and its value as well as price growth over time. Then you will easily realize that how strongly Bitcoin has thrived so far, and you will self-answer your question.

China government tried to ban, crack down Bitcoin mining and market but they have yet won against Bitcoin. They will also have to change their regulations on Bitcoin when it has already been adopted in many countries including a big nation like the USA. Bitcoin is a leader of blockchain industry and cryptocurrency market so if these things are future of human civilization, Bitcoin role is very important in this crypto ecosystem so that it won't die by attacks from governments.

Bitcoin market is manipulated but Bitcoin blockchain is decentralized and it is impossible to censor transactions or revert them on Bitcoin blockchain.

Bitcoin doesn't have a price, it has an exchange rate.Money cannot have a price because it is the standard used to measure the value of other things.Exchange rates are the value of one currency measured in terms of another.

For over 15 years now we have continued to ask questions about bitcoin striving and for over the fifteen years we have seen bitcoin perform exceptionally well against even the bans of government and now the bitcoin adoption is actually growing with even more countries and haters now embracing the bitcoin itself, so for me this question should be actually reverse like it should be: how high can bitcoin go because for striving bitcoin has actually in my opinion now passes the hurdle of been dropped down.

Although I won’t deny that even with bitcoin over powering this hates, government will still go to any length to actually try and control and manipulate bitcoin but it will be nearly impossible to do directly one way I think this control of bitcoin users will be through centralized exchanges which government will place under regulations and through them they can try that. But bitcoin naturally cannot be controlled or manipulated

The government has tried various methods to discourage people from using Bitcoin, whether through bans, spreading FUD, or restricting its use, but they have not succeeded - on the contrary, Bitcoin adoption rates have increased, and many people have adopted it. And now we can see that Bitcoin has grown significantly, from something that was initially considered unimportant by many people, to one of the most significant digital assets, and has even been adopted by governments as a strategic reserve asset that is considered capable of protecting value in the long term.

It has already started: governments are doing something about it with the strategic BTC reserve. So at least it's a foot in the door.

Imagine if there were full support from governments around the world. They could take advantage of those who haven't yet done so, like the inflation hedge BTC could offer if the dollar's value ever decreases. Also, avoiding supply manipulation won't be a problem for BTC.

BTC is a good asset that should be for everyone.

They will do anything, like the JP morgan tried recently, but what happened, nothing, they can't suppress it, unless the government in power is not in their favor. Once the idea of the government changes to the same one, then we should worry.

Bro the question is really generic but manipulation will always be there, we just have to find a way to live with that and make some profit by losing less. We can't do anything to stop it completely, we have to work with it. That's the reality, the sooner we realize it, the sooner it is better.

Honestly, I don't have a definitive answer to this question. 🤷

Today I read an article about the investment fund BlackRock and the Alladin risk assessment system. If all the information about BlackRock and Alladin is true (and it most likely is), then all global finance is controlled by a single computer algorithm. Moreover, all control is exercised from a single center located in Washington, D.C.

Reading about Alladin, I don't quite understand how Bitcoin can develop further. The Alladin system is a risk management system. It models millions of different economic situations and automatically eliminates risky options. Because it's a feedback system, it functions as a self-fulfilling prophecy. That is, it not only warns, but also actively acts, depriving companies of investment. Seeking to avoid economic crises and bankruptcies, it destroys all organizations and financial structures that stand out from the crowd in any way. And Bitcoin, as we all know, stands out from the crowd.

I'm confident that Aladdin won't allow Bitcoin to develop further, and Bitcoin can't exist without development. We might all have to endure the Great Depression and the collapse of BlackRock before Bitcoin can finally free itself from the shackles of institutional players and realize its potential.

One thing I've always believe is that Bitcoin will really not be a means of daily transaction as Fiat.. even if that is possible, I do t see it happening soon. As much as different countries exists, fiat will be the dominating. Bitcoin can only be a substitute option maybe for large payments as it is now. The government like power and control over it's people and fiat is one way they do that.. they wouldn't be able to have control if Bitcoin thrives as much as we want... The problem of volatility is still limiting and fir the fact that the price movement is massive, it will affect everyday purchases...

Bitcoin has been thriving for over a decade, so I don't think we should still question if bitcoin can thrive or not. We could have not witness bitcoin today if it does not thrive throughout those days, months and years. And up to now, bitcoin continue to thrive.

However, different issues and attacks could be thrown to bitcoin but I don't think its threat works. We may even witness bitcoin going firm and inevitable in building its good reputation to the people and to the market where bitcoin moves.

Some governments already tried banning, but everyone who knows how the system works will know why it is not possible. So now they are treating it as asset and almost it align with the interest of the majority of bitcoin holders, they see it as investment not really as an alternative to this centralized paper currency.

Still bitcoin is an alternative, government can discourage people from using it but they can never force people to stop using it as long as people want to use it.

You have mentioned many things, and none of them are new for any government, as they have all already tried these.

When you say, 'Will they allow for Bitcoin to thrive?' it implies the mindset that Bitcoin is like a business operating under the confines of a license to operate.  No, it is not.  Although China has attempted numerous times to ban Bitcoin, the EU has tried to impose regulatory regulations that would destroy Bitcoin, and the United States has tried for many years to place every major entity within the Bitcoin network through bankruptcy.  Still, we are here.  and the very "Ultimate" powers of which you have fear are now competing against each other to accumulate the most Bitcoins.

Is it possible for them to manipulate the market price of Bitcoin?  Most certainly!  Just as they are currently doing it with gold, oil, and fiat currencies, they certainly do the same with Bitcoin on a daily basis.  So, If you cant handle price swings caused by some politician tweet or a central banks interest rate hike, you shouldnt be in this market.  Although they may control the "on-ramps" (Exchanges), they cannot control the Bitcoin network.  And should you keep possession of your Bitcoins in self-custody, you have nothing to worry about.

You see, governments are now taking advantage of Bitcoin.  Developed and rich countries are now accepting Bitcoin and even build regulation and infrastructure around it.  Although maybe this government wanted to manipulate Bitcoin movement, I think the core design of Bitcoin won't be easily cracked and controlled by the authority.  This is also the reason why they are building infrastructure around it, not touching the core structure of Bitcoin. 

Bitcoin will thrive because of lots of integration around it.  And the development still happens, showing that Bitcoin adoption will only strengthen from here.

If you don't mind, what's the real meaning of thrive for you? Because from your question, seems like that you have not seen bitcoin already thriving in the market. Bitcoin has been thriving for almost 2 decades already, so how come you aren't sure yet if bitcoin is good enough to thrive or may lose its essence in the long run.

If you can trace the history of bitcoin and discovered it started from a scratch, you will know how much bitcoin has been thriving, that until now it continue to amaze us and look forward for a more positive price for bitcoin in the future.

It can, because we decide it, so we get to make it thrive if we want to. Bitcoin is the first thing where governments can't stop us, and they know this, so they are taking advantage of it. If governments wanted to "ban" it, we would still use it, they can't stop, it's p2p and that is why there is no main server to block or anything, as long as it stays within PC of a single person, it will continue to exist, so they can't stop it.

So what they do? Instead of ban it and lose money out on it, they just make it legal so they can tax it and that was the smart way to go. We can start to use it a lot more and that way we would be getting it to be more globally adopted. We don2t, but we can do that if we wanted to.

Didn't it thrive until now? And, haven't they been doing all this throughout this time? Yes, it did, and yes, they have been, but the result is in front of us; Bitcoin has an all-time high price of $126k, which they used to call a bubble and said it's a currency of criminals because it allows anonymity and privacy, so criminals and those who are involved in any sort of illegal activity were used to be linked with Bitcoin, because they wanted to make people see Bitcoin as something negative, but as the time went by, people started realizing that what they have been told all this time wasn't true, and Bitcoin is not a bad thing but it is a great asset which can help them make money as well.

So, Bitcoin has been thriving and it will keep doing that, and now that the whole world has come to know that Bitcoin is something positive and has nothing negative attached to it, there is nothing that can stop it, even the governments and those who were against it and were always trying to bring it down are now giving up because they know there is no point, if they speak against it, they are only going to get discriminated by those who are using Bitcoin and know it only has benefits to offer.

I would say yes. If you think about it about the time when bitcoin is created where it's price is very low and years later it reached $100k so, it really thrive where in the world fiat currency is what governments really want because they can control it compared to bitcoin. Bicoin's price can be manipulated but not controlled because it is not controlled by a central authority.  In a situation where news could change the movement of bitcoin, that is called "manipulation", maybe from the big banks and other financial institutions but it does not give them control over bitcoin.

This is the main reason why bitcoin would remain untouchable in recent years to come regardless of critics and other factors. Even Trump does not have full control over bitcoin, he could only manipulate the market price with laws and legislation but not control it. Bitcoin has broken so many highs over the years with same critics and it's still standing, so definitely bitcoin can thrive in the midst of doubts and uncertainty.
