If the bitcoin network needs to operate, then we need miners to verify the blocks and nodes to validate the blocks so human needs to be there if we want the network to be just as it is. For example, if hosting is the most profitable, dedicate the hardware to hosting. If instead running a Bitcoin miner is the most profitable, run a Bitcoin miner. [1] This tool doesn't need human intervention, and it can run for a long time.

Then imagine another similar app, which has the task to do international payments the best way possible. In some cases, they will chose Bitcoin (for example for payments to countries where bank transfers are very expensive).

So both mining and payments could be achieved without human intervention, with today's technology.

In practice of course there are difficulties. Think about failing hardware. Maintenance is currently probably the biggest barrier to really fully automated services.

And of course you can ask: what's the purpose of a payment if it's not to pay some human-run company or worker? Are completely machine-run companies feasible? That's however not a Bitcoin-related question.

[1] Of course mining is dominated now by ASICs. So not every server will be able to mine profitably. But the theoretic concept still works. If you have difficulties imagining it, just think about a CPU minable altcoin.

There are many tools can be used for Bitcoin mining from configurations to follow up and reboot if necessary as well as for Bitcoin transaction broadcasting and payment processing. It's only not all things can be done automatically like with mining, there will be need of maintenance and technical repairs or physical replacements. These things will need human engagement, if not fully, it will be partially. Time when all things can be done by machines, online tools, bots will still belong to the future, not at the present but most of things have been already done by tools.

It's only not yet ready for everything in life can be done without human, even with robots and AI growth massively recent years. However it does not mean Bitcoin blockchain will become centralized and able to be censored by human.

There is absolutely nothing you guys won't pick a fight with Bitcoin about. I don't even understand what you mean by Bitcoin vs human influence, Bitcoin is not in a battle with humans, Bitcoin is not another rebel robot just like the ones from IRobot.
Beside it was a human (satoshi) or group of people (still going by Satoshi) that brought about the existence of Bitcoin.
Yes Bitcoin needs human influence just like every other man created stuff.

The question you should ask yourself is can anything on earth operates with out the influence of human. Nothing can work if humans don't act on such things so thesame thing applies to Bitcoin, humans are the drivers of the Bitcoin network without humans I don't think that machines will come and mine Bitcoin so human play a very big role here. I initially wanted to answer that way too. I almost didn't realize the ambiguity in the question of influence and control. The fact is that the entire Bitcoin network is not subject to individual or even small collective control.
To have overall control, one would need to influence everyone involved in the ecosystem; completely destroying their faith in Bitcoin. You could influence 50 out of 100 current contributors to quit: developers, miners, node runners, etc. The problem is, anyone has the potential to become a contributor in the future, whether voluntarily or through incentives.

So, my answer is: it depends on the extent of the influence.

It is written by Satoshi, so the code itself has human touch on it, so there is already influence on it.

And if I'm not mistaken, miners and nodes even though started by human, can operate without human interface for a long time. And if we talk about Bitcoin as sound money, obviously, yes, there is also human influence on it. So in a sense, Bitcoin can't be a store of value, hedge against inflation or global adoption without humans.

If we don't act, Bitcoin will certainly not be able to make an impact. Bitcoin's existence and effectiveness depend primarily on the participation of each of us. Humans have a role in Bitcoin's activity because if we don't transact and use it, it won't be able to keep running on its own. However, no single person or center can control or impose its own rules on it. Therefore, Bitcoin's impact depends on each user, but is not under anyone's control.

No. Humans are the driving force because of the actions they take. Perhaps the logic is not what you expected from this post, because it is humans who drive Bitcoin, allowing it to reach its current level where the community has grown larger worldwide. The movement (speed or slowness) depends on the actions taken by humans, and we have seen this since Satoshi created Bitcoin until now, where we are the ones driving that movement.

Essentially bitcoin was practically created for human use, it wasn't created for aliens to use, it for human beings working on planet Earth, so the two entities complement each other, bitcoin was created for human being and human being was created to use Bitcoin, so in as much as bitcoin is essential, human beings are the ones to use it, just the way God created air, humans needs it for breathe same way plants also need it, Just the way the internet and computer was created by humans for humans use.

I mean, it is run by the community. We are running the nodes, it's the one making the structure of Bitcoin, the miners are securing it, and mine the blocks for every transaction, also the community need some kind of consensus if an upgrade is gonna be needed, or for it to be upgraded, we need everyone's approval. Miners are all operated by humans, basically it was just all consists of humans, it's decentralized, its a community we are the one running it.

Bitcoin was just created by humans. It would just make sense that without human it is just going to be useless. I mean, it is just a tool created for us. If we dont use the tool, it is just useless, if no one is interested or using Bitcoin, it will not have any value at all in the market.
