That’s how it ends up when the government fails to provide jobs that actually fit people. With the rise of AI and robots, it’s understandable that some jobs are now done better and cheaper by machines, companies will always choose lower labor costs and higher accuracy. The problem is when humans are left behind because of that shift.

And that’s exactly why we have a government. People voted them in to serve everyone, especially the poor. Their policies should be pro-human, not pro-robot or only pro-rich. Technology should help society move forward, not push people further into struggle.

Capitalism is here to stay, which means the gap between the rich and poor will keep expanding. The UK and the US doesnt have the worse case sceneroi because the gap in other countries is wider. In developing nations where corruption is the order of the day the day, the gap is mindboggling.

EU and the UK are facing a decline in population, so AI and immigrants will be needed to cover labour shortages. Ai will never replace hums and it will also create jobs.

The wealth gap is getting hard to ignore, and it’s shaping the future of society, Yeah sure there will always be opportunities in places like the US, UK, and EU and most of it is accessible.  The problem,  is that people do not have the means to seize opportunity,  Inflation and the rising cost of living are eating up people’s wages,   so even those with jobs will struggle to survive. It feels like the middle class is slowly disappearing.  House rent in really expensive, basic needs cost more every year and It takes one disaster to send someone crashing into poverty.  This is bad planning from our society. It should not be this easy to fall into poverty.

Looking ahead,  AI and automation will take over a lot of work or should I say it has already taken a lot of jobs.  If the majority of lower and mid level jobs are automated,  we will be fine but if only the benefits are shared. But if only the rich continue to be the only beneficiaries, we will enter a society where the wealthy are rich, the machines do the work, and the rest of the population are left with no jobs. It will be a very unstable society.

The future for the US, UK, and EU really relies on how the government chose to handle the situation now,  If governments do not evolve policies regarding housing,  education, wages and the distribution of tech-driven wealth,  the gap will only worsen, technology alone will not address the problem of inequality; decisions that consider people will matter just as much.

This is not just a problem in the US; even here in Asia, it is possible that jobs will run out and be replaced by AI. This has its advantages, and you, as a human being, also need to upgrade and find out what future jobs you can have. It is difficult for others because they are satisfied with whatever skills they have; they can increase their knowledge even more so that it is easier to enter areas where jobs are needed. The reason why there are so many homeless people is that they are not productive; they are people who are satisfied with just the way they are. If you want to change, you will be wiser in the decisions you make in life. If necessary, study again, study for your future.

The wealth gap is really taking development to the highest modernity and those living lower class such as the poor countries and individuals are being encouraged/forced to catch up the trend as measure of wealth has become the most essence of relevance.
That concern is also what I see to be awakening the underdeveloped countries to realize that there is a competition in the world that is capitalized that what you have to offer to others and reserves human resources keeps you winning and honoured.

Don't rely on my saying but I am speculating that somewhere in the future, AI will be projected to do much of human jobs but yet there will be no way the AI will do all sort of jobs humans do. So there is still going to be necessity for human resources. That means technology is only evolving to make works easier but not prioritize to bench human services.

That's real. There are lots of opportunities but not everyone has that. The rich are the ones who get to enjoy most of the opportunities and only few poor have the opportunity to go from rags to riches. The rich become richer while the poor suffer the most with high cost and inflation, making it even harder for them to survive with their daily living expenses.

Do we really have a solution to this? The government can only help the poor with the basic necessities but there will always be a gap between the rich and the poor. Even the government officials, a lot of them want to keep climbing up to have more money and power. So can we really be sure that they're in that position to help their people or they just want something for themselves? Probably in the next years or decades, the wealth gap will be greater than today. But right now, I don't really see AI to replace most workforce. They are being used a lot now but still needs human intervention.

Your point is really valid and its true that a big gape in wealth creates a serious problems in society. Due to this gape people can't achieve opportunities because prices are to high, education and housing are also expensive so its create problems for an ordinary individual. In developed countries like UK and USA in future may they have middle class and homeless people because AI and robots will take many jobs. And also migrants affected at high rate because they will pay very low. And in these countries societies may become unstable but the countries remain rich. If governments don't pay attention on housing, education and fair tax's then its create inequality which may leads to social tension instead of progress.

Business owners are replacing human force with robotic force not just now, but from a long time, and we all knew it is going to happen, so those who were working in the fields where they knew AI or robotic developments are increasing, they heard it before but they ignored because they said, until it arrives and actually replaces them, keep doing it.

Instead they did not focus on learning things that they can do if they really arrives. Now, same thing is happening with AI as it has replaced graphic designers and a lot of other professionals because with the use of AI things are too easy now. But this just not ends here, those who learns these AI tools that are meant to replace them, will make even more. Now where it all leading, your main question is a bit confusing to me, but I hope I covered it. And that is we must focus on learning and adapting.

The matter is not even about lack of chances rather it's about how so many people are getting real access, while you will now see cost of living keeps sky rocking and when it comes to wealth is not for everyone, it's only accumulates fewer persons and leave the others to fight for survival.

You see if nothing has to be done or changed, the gap can end up being worst, imagine Ai takes over our jobs or they take more jobs then I don't think the future is save because it will now depend on if the system will become more balanced or will continue to press us out or leave people behind.

In such developing nations, you either work hard to move out of poverty or you go deeper into poverty. The middle class is disappearing because of corruption, inflation and other harsh economic conditions. Some people in these poor nations come out of poverty through innovation, creative investments or migration to countries with better economies.

It is growing rapidly, and with uncontrolled money printing, it's definitely harder to set the right direction for the middle class because it's only richer or poorer. If we look at Universal Basic Income (UBI), it should be the solution to this problem. Done by Finland [1] and Germany [2], this shows that having a floor towards the minimum income is key so that everyone would have good well-being.

These studies should be followed up on so that there is clear, significant evidence on how to counter this wealth gap before it's too late. It's definitely something to worry about in the future.

As for USA, UK and the EU Nations, they all have populations they can easily take care of, to an extent there is an even distribution of wealth, so that wealth gap is not too much between the citizens. This nations have strong system that they literally budget for everybody including unborn children with the estimated population they have, so poverty will be far fetched from them.

All over the world the gap is expanding but for the countries you have identified, they are not the one to be concerned with because no matter the gap, they would continue to find a way of social benefit to ensure that the poor or those who could not earn much are able to maintain minimum standard of living. For the developing countries or under developed ones, that is where the problem is, because as the inflation continues to rise and the country rejoicing under the assumption of growth, a large percentage of the population are being left behind because there is no safety net for them whatsoever.
