Has anyone accomplished this?

Qubes OS and Monero/xmrig mining?

I read and got a thought, that xmrig would be sandboxed and applying MSR is not accomplishable.


What are your thoughts?

Modifying the MSR requires root access which totally defeats the purpose of sandboxing. They are fundamentally incompatible.
