Any addiction is very harmful to humans, each addiction affects people in different ways and slowly leads to bad things. Drugs are much more dangerous things, people become addicted to drugs quickly if that person starts taking drugs. When someone starts taking drugs, it is only a matter of time before they become addicted to the drug, and once they become addicted to the drug, it will bring great destruction to their life from which they will not be able to get out easily.

And gambling does not make someone addicted to gambling, there are many people here who have been gambling for a long time but they are not addicted to gambling yet. If you control yourself while gambling, you can prevent yourself from becoming addicted to gambling, which is very different from drugs. But yes, if someone becomes addicted to gambling, that addiction has a huge impact on the gambler's life, slowly leading them to a much worse situation, where they suffer a lot physically, mentally, and financially.

Both can destroy our lives if we become addicted. There have been many cases of people's lives being ruined by gambling or drug addiction, and from this we can learn not to become addicted to either of these things because the negative effects can be quite dangerous. However, occasional gambling may not be a problem if done wisely, but with drugs, even if it's just occasionally, I don't know if it's good or not.

Whether consciously or unconsciously, when we gamble, there is a possibility of becoming addicted, especially if we do it without limits. We should be aware of this and immediately stay away from it or reduce our gambling because of its serious consequences.

When comparing the both of them, I am of the opinion that drug destroys faster than gambling because drug is internally taken and it affects the brain and thinking faculty of the individual to constantly needing it because the body is already accustomed to it so it would regularly need it to meet up with the body demand when ever such urge arises and it does trigger so regular that one can not control themselves again on a normal term.

While that of gambling is just a psychological effect that triggers one to always want to gamble, which can also cause a defect in the gambler's lifestyle, but gambling is not internally taken like that of  drug; both of them also have a psychological effect on the individuals who get themselves involved in it.  Although both of them are self-destruct terminals if engaged in excess without any measures put in place to curtail excessive intake of them.

Gambling can lead you to take loans when you’re out of funds and since you don’t have a tangible source of income, you rely on luck, it leads you to lie and so many other disadvantages. Not everyone who uses drugs are addicted. Some people use some substance for stricktly recreasional reasons and they are responsible. Drug use is illegal in my country incldung marijuana. But I know some people who illegally use it and are still responsible. Most entertainers like musicians in my country are drug users yet they still do good music.

The conclusion is thst no from of addiction is less harmful. But drug and gambling adddiction should be avoided because both of them have the capacity to ruin the life of addicts.

Hmm, true, drugs do destroy people sharp sharp..  The damage will be visible, body will be getting weak, brain, work will suffer, family will feel it, and danger do come quick.. Anybody who sees the person will know something bad is happening, even the person won’t be able to hide it for long..

But gambling, is a silent killer..  it doesn’t rush.. it normally start like cruise, small fun, small win, until losses begin to pile up. From my own view, is how different the major damage happens because you see some people that have this habits or these habits do display there effects quickly and this will make people to know something is wrong while other do show case there self as a harmless fun or entertainment but it just puts you into problem gradually before you can even realise what is actually going wrong.

Yes  the both of them are just similar in the reaction chain and get all nuts when it seems the urge arises to do or get engaged with it. As for drug, that is more dangerous compared to gambling as drug is fully related to health and it is a substance that is being introduced to the body which makes it function in a way that get the body accostomed to it and would demand for it whenever it needs it and such is very difficult to do away with because it is internally taken but with a well planned procedures put in place and the willingness of the person involded in the matter, it can be handled. I think this is simply one of the shortest paths that can ruin a player's life or drive them to rock bottom, and climbing out of that rock bottom will be extremely difficult, if not impossible. False. A single gambling session can ruin a person's life because the amount of money you can lose is much greater. You cannot consume $1 million worth of cocaine, heroin or any other drug you want in one night, far from that. But you can lose $1 million in a single night. You can lose your life savings and even get into debt with quick loans and lose everything in no time.

I'm not sure that's what he meant, the context of what he said is, it only takes a win or loss to get hooked to gambling, It doesn't necessarily mean that a person's life can be ruined by one gambling session. Addictions start off slowly, sometimes some it can start when they are just having fun and enjoying the game. The bottom line is all about having self control to avoid getting addicted.
