I know that both drug and gambling addicted are dangerous, but to be honestly, drug addicted destroy quickly and easily than gambling addicted. I have been gambling addicted before, and now I have been able to control myself and I am doing fine. Just imagine if I was addicted to drug before. I am not sure, maybe my life will remain same as I am now. It very sure that even I was able to control and stop consuming drug, I will remain same. Drug should have cause some damages in my life. I don't think that we should compare drug addicted to gambling addicted, as drug is most dangerous than gambling. If gamble, it possible that during my hard time I should be lucky and win some life-changing amount, which can bring me back to happiness stage, but in drug it will continue destroying

Stop generalising it to all gamblers and people that uses drugs. Of course, that's true. You just have to learn to control yourself, which is certainly very difficult, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't strive for it. I don’t think it makes sense to compare drugs and gambling, because they are very different things. And if you say that gambling destroys people slowly, there are also examples of people who go all in and lose their property, their capital, and real estate very quickly. So examples of both fast and slow destruction can be found everywhere.

These are very bad habits that can ruin peoples life  without delay and so it is not advisable to be part of them, for gambling it ruin you instantly when you use huge amount of money to gamble and you lose it or when being addicted out of control you end up in a rehab where you will be places on medication for so year and for those who can't bear it ends up commiting suicide, as for drugs it destroys gradually till it finishes you up, they also ends up their lives in the rehab or too much intake of drugs leads to death .

So OP, what exactly you wanted to tell us? Just your thoughts? Everything of that is already known to everyone However first I thought that you are going to share your experience in both.

Anyway. Drugs and gambling do different damage. You cant recover from drugs addiction. No matter what people say after passing recovery courses, damage done to health cant be healed, no matter what they say. Gambling does not do that. Its addiction can be replaced with other hobby.

Bitcointalk is filled with posts that people share the obvious, we are quite used to it. However, it does create a new talking points, it is not about what OP writes, but more about what people react to it and say, sometimes they agree with the common knowledge, sometimes you get to learn new things.

I agree that drug abuse is dangerous, but I think we should also understand why people turn to drugs in the first place. Blaming them isn't the solution. These individuals need help and support, not judgment. I believe prevention and rehabilitation programs are much more important than just limiting access.

Not just for drug addicts but to gambling addicts too, this people should be treated as victims of a social vice and should be attended to with a show of love in our words and not condemning them to what they're doing that is already destroying their lives. Does gambling really destroy life? I don’t really think that’s true, there is nothing bad in gambling, people have been gambling for years, and everything is fine with them, it’s not affecting their mental health or anything. I really disagree with you that gambling is bad.

I don’t see anything wrong with gambling, when gambling becomes bad is when you are addicted to gambling, and that’s when gambling starts affecting you, but if you are a random gambler that gamble for fun, then gambling is not going to cause you any harm.
