It might be right that the crypto space is dominated by men currently but that doesn't mean that women doesn't have a role to play as well. This post was inspired by a conversation with a close friend days ago, and it made me take my time to research on women doing very well in the crypto space. https://capital.com/en-int/analysis/50-women-investors-with-enviable-investment-portfoliosI have this friend who's hardworking, she's a nail technician and makes cool cash from her works daily, anyways what transpired was that she talked about joining a monthly contribution to save, since she makes a fair amount of cash and needs to start saving, I advised her on investing in Bitcoin and she turned it down saying it's a men's thing, it got me surprised which made me sit her down to explain the benefits of doing it and how easy it is just by knowing the basics, according to what I've learnt from this platform, surprisingly she picked interest after my explanations and said she'll give it a second thought. Well there are many women in our country that's been skeptical about investing in Bitcoin cause of that mentality, many of them feel that involving in cryptocurrency is a man's thing and have missed good opportunities of buying Bitcoin cheaper. For those of you who have close female friends, sisters and maybe a spouse, ask them about what they think about investing in Bitcoin and here their statement, share your experience in this thread.

Actually, it is true that men are dominating the cryptocurrency industry, but this doesn't mean Bitcoin investment is meant for men only, is an idea that is not true. Bitcoin investment is all about awareness and it is so because the men have more awareness than the women but with proper sensitization, more women will begin to come into bitcoin investing. Just like you encouraged your female friend and she gave it a thought, thesame way it will be if the information is spread to other women. In Nigeria, few women are into bitcoin investing and it will be a good thing if we see our women picking interest in bitcoin investing, because is a way of updating and bringing our women into the digital market and Blockchain technology.

I wont be surprised if that is coming from a woman. Most women in the soceity feel that becoming wealthy through business and investment is a Man's thing to do. While the way for them to reach that status is by dating a man with that status or getting married to the man. Their wealth is dependent on a man. They cant boast of anything themselves. Although, there are still few woman who understand the benefit of investing in crypto, stocks and mutual funds. At least you were able to let her understand that Bitcoin does not dicriminate any gender. Anyone with the capital and dscipline can start their investment journey in Bitcoin.

Bitcoin itself represented equality where anyone can have it as long as you have internet then it's not exceptional for women, the truth is people have stereotyped crypto as something that requires had decisions and a strong hear t to withstand failed attempts and volatility but then it's not true just how people thought of it and in life there will always people who make excuses for things but well not exclusively to women even some men have excuses, however I am a woman as so many others too so please don't get yourself worked up by those who have chosen not to try.

This reminds me of an incident years back I told a male friend who was into crypto to teach me what crypto is all about that I want know more about it, because I always see them discussing about cryptocurrency and from their discussions they made cool cash from it. I was so curious on know about it, but guess what, they turned me down with "you are not a guy leave anything crypto alone " I was not very happy with them because of that statement, because they were being gender biased at that point. Most times it is not just the ladies choice but people who are supposed to put them through just kept them in the dark, there are lots of ladies out there who are doing great in cryptocurrency investments today, just pray to come across like minded people as you.

True true crypto is not limited to only men for we country, women can also explore the digital space, but the problem wey make men dominate the crypto space is that most women no get the balls to take the types of risk men dy take on a daily basis. Another problem is our women mentality, them no get patience to invest in Bitcoin or do anything in the crypto space wey go fit pay them big time, them just believe say if them date a wealthy man, the guy go solve all their financial responsibilities, so the mentality of not wanting to work or stress their brain is one major reason men dominate the crypto space in Nigeria.

I also have female friends who are very interested in everything crypto. Like, one of them is more passionate about crypto than me. How she came about learning it and developing that love is what I don't know, but what I can tell is she's making very decent money from working as support for a project, trading and other activities which end up paying her in crypto. We also have men out there who are not bold enough to give crypto a try; they consider it a Ponzi scheme. Some of their behaviour is from not being informed, while some is a result of not just being interested.

Unfortunately you will find our discussions concerning cryptocurrency is often found boring by women Because they are more likely not to have the mindset to invest in things other than their looks. Only a few number of women are interested in actually making sacrifices to be able to invest in cryptocurrency. There will be more awareness as things progresses because more women are thriving towards independence these days and that independence comes with responsibilities And to sort those responsibilities you require a source of income and to have a source of income you need to be investments minded too to have that mindset it means that more women will still be interested in cryptocurrency.

Normally woman literally count their self off anything that concern investing their hard earned money online especially due to the previous sad experience of mmm and the lost it caused to so many people at of that period, they always have that mentality of taking it all to be scam since is something that involved online. But their are still few of them that are still giving it a trial even to an extent of joining the forum.
However, Bitcoin investment is an investment for all regardless of the gender, once you are interested and have all the requirements especially your discretionary funds you're good to go. But regardless, their is one thing I don't do trying to convince a woman into the system because they are just too dramatic to my liking, I wouldn't want someone to sad choking me around when things didn't work as fast as they always want as women as they her, perhaps I always want to chanel that energy in accumulating more instead of wasting time to convince a woman to invest.

The cryptocurrency market is a space of opportunity that is open to all, regardless of gender. While the crypto industry is traditionally male-dominated, women are actively involved in it, holding leadership positions, creating startups, investing, and making significant contributions to the industry. For example, Hester Pierce, known as "Kryptomom," is an employee of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hester_PeirceAlso Cynthia Lammis, Elizabeth Stark, Meltem Demiroris, Gracie Chen, you can actually go on for a long time. Although women are a minority in the crypto industry, their role and influence are growing. The difficulties faced by women in the crypto industry are, of course, lack of knowledge and experience. But all the other difficulties, such as financial restrictions, technical difficulties , market volatility, and gender stereotypes and bias, recently are already falling to a minimum because women every year try to overcome these obstacles. Here on the forum I saw several women who are no worse than men.

I don't know whether to call it an African mentality or a global mentality that women have that their wealth is dependent on men. Whichever it is, women have to have a change of mentality, which I believe they are doing, engaging in different businesses and learning to become their own bosses without relying on men to provide all their needs for them. In the aspect of crypto for women, women haven't found themselves fully involved in crypto compared to men. But with the way the world is pushing into digitalization, women are advancing into it and no longer limiting themselves into be with a man to be complete. They want their own financial freedom, which many are choosing crypto investment for that.

We now live in an era where making money is no longer a mystery, making money from cryptocurrency is not gender based,. women are now actively involved in the crypto market. like the topic says, cryptocurrency is not just for men alone, making money is not supposed to be a gender thing. A friend of mine said she isn't going to invest in bitcoin or trade because she feels like she isn't smart for it and a lot of.women feel this way.

You know women love to take things easier and that's why many are good at saving and managing finances as compared to working for the money the hard way. I don't mean to be gender biased, but there are women in almost any field of endeavor that a man has ventured in, and they performed excellently well. There are female developers and Bitcoin or cryptocurrency investors, too. All they need is a good mentor and right guidance and they soon bloom, but the issue comes with taking investment risk, because of their emotional state which may be more complicated than that of the men. I beg to differ however.

Off course cryptocurrency doesn't stop any gender from investing or trading because any gender can do whatever they want so long as the interest and willingness is there. But as a lady the best time to start anything cryptocurrency is from small because at some point or some age they won't be interested as it will take them time to get to know about how it works and some of them don't like anything that will stress them at this age I'm talking about but yet there are some who doesn't take their eyes off from anything that gives money and these category of lady do make it in life and become independent.

The way I see this, the matter here is more about attitude than gender itself because most people do think that money or wealth come with relationship than supporting each other or instead of personal efforts but if you look from an angle you will see that the belief is gradually changing. You see investment or having money don't determine your gender rather it's all depends it you have the knowledge, if you're disciplined and lastly if you are patient then you can build your own wealth be it male or female. So if you help people understand most especially things like bitcoin then you're are actually helping them to step in the right path or directions in the cryptocurrency world or system.

Crypto-currency is an anonymous journey, many people choose to remain anonymous in the crypto-currency space so trying to base it off gender is weird and very practically wrong. There are many women in Crypto-currency but still that is not an established fact also it is not a fact that there are little women in Crypto-currency.

Truly speaking, women have their role to play on the crypto market, I have also made a deal with a lady through a p2p trade that I was doing few weeks back, I was not surprised because women are now dominating the crypto space as we speak, how I know that it was a lady is because of the name on her ad, and when when she paid the same name appeared, so it is obvious that it's a woman. It is obvious that the woman op is talking about don't know about crypto currency, she thinks it's only men thing because of the type of information and perspectives she had.

This is 2026 and some Nigerian women should stop being entitled to men's money they should stop having that mentality everything would be settled once they get married to a rich man while they sit at home enjoying the wealth someone sacrificed to make, I feel so ashamed as a woman when I see my fellow women with such mindset. However I heard cases of how some men try to take advantage of women who go to them to acquire basic knowledge of cryptocurrency it makes no sense, maybe that's why some women don't really put interest in it. Although it's not an excuse though since they can still join forums like these where education about Bitcoin much conditions but your willingness to learn.
