I don't see anything wrong in a Man sending his son abroad to go study as long as he paid for the tuition fees from his own money and not from public purse. Wike didn't want to continue with the program that the previous administration before him had in place which was using the state money to sponsor indigenes of the state abroad for education. Wike didn't say that those who could afford it shouldn't go for education abroad. Wike sponsored his children abroad there's no big deal there. It is not a new thing that in Nigeria there's never continuity of projects. Every new administration always abandon what the previous administration had in place before leaving office. Wike is not the first person to have tried it.

Shame on them for not building Nigeria universities up to the world standard. Why will Nigerian doctors, nurses, people with good education, experience and qualifications not leave the country when the politicians are making such examples?

The same thing he campaigned against, others not sending there children abroad for studies now his son has just graduated, that is the true colour if all politicians they say and do things when it wont favour them but supports when they know it will be beneficial to them. If not for wike being so treacherous in nature, why will he sponsor his own son to study abroad them contributes heavily to the distraction of the institutions in Nigeria. With this particular news all Nigeria's politicians are the same, stealing and destroying the country that made them who they are then send there children to the country they believe has a good institution so there children will become better than that of the poor masses.

If a Nigeria politician son is putting on a pair of shoes that is worth four million Naira,then I have every reason to believe that the money used in sponsoring his children abroad are embezzled public funds. As a man who is educated and as one of the most popular, influential and controversial politician in it is of a top priority that he will want his gain education in a well organised environment on like the messed up educational system in Nigeria.
As a wealthy and one who have had a successful career in politics it is important that to him that his gain the best education from a university in one of the best country in the world.

During the administration of Former Governor Rotimi Amaechi he sponsored so Many Rivers State Students on scholarship in different countries overseas but once Wike took over and became the Governor he terminated all the scholarships and left the students frustrated and most of them couldn't revive from the trauma till today, I know of one that remains frustrated and is in the village doing nothing till date, no one is against Wike training his children abroad but people got angry on how he terminated the scholarships given by Rotimi Amaechi and today his children all studied abroad.

Nigeria system of education is nothing to write home about that's why you see all our politicians sending their children abroad to acquire a better education and neglecting the schools we have here, most of the schools we have here don't have chairs, there are no teachers to impact knowledge into the pupils, it's pathetic as he was even campaigning against others sending their children abroad to study and today he is the victim of what he preached.

What your view on this ;

Education is the legal right of everyone wether rich or poor, where you acquire it makes no difference, if one has the resources he/she can travel any part of the world to get good education or still acquire it at his/her country of residence. What is the need for a man to be wealthy if he can’t give his son and family a good life. Everyone has the right to their opinion but to me i see nothing wrong with Wike son getting a degree outside because it has nothing to do with the current Nigeria challenges, Wike school here in Nigeria and also did his Nysc at the then Bendel state now Delta state, yes i know that there was a time when he once said that he preferred that certain courses that people should not bother going outside to study them since it could be studied here in Nigeria but mind you that was his own opinion, what if his son was the one that wanted to school outside? Or do we want Wike to flog him or what?

Nigeria is in a mess today but it’s not because Wike son studied outside that is making us go through this ugly phase as a nation, so instead of us wasting time with who studied here in Nigeria or not let’s channel our energy into issues that will help contribute to the grow and uplifting of this country.

To wike he is proud of his son, bagging masters degree from one of the best schools in the world while the people through them he got to where he is now are not considered for one day. Its a good thing for Wike and his family as its a added advantage to his son as his chances of being ahead of us is a bit sure and certain when it has to do with being positioned in good office but one thing i know and believe is what so ever one plants that's what he will rip. Nothing is wrong if sending your children outside the country to study but minister Wike is a selfish human being on earth that will not allow someone's child to study outside Nigeria, education is free for everyone when you have your money and can send your children outside the Nigeria or you make your decision where they can study, but all these center selfies politician that do not know the use of their own university in the country think the aboard is more better than and can't work hand to hand to build a better university in Nigeria, Nigeria will always learn in a hard way.

Nyesome Wike is a man that have pride and he holds dearly this extensive features. He doesn't always let people tell him what to do and he becomes a man of his own very words and actions. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the minister sending his son to abroad and bagging a degree, whats wrong is him coming on air to tell Nigeria parents not to send their kids to abroad to study. This is manipulation on the highest order. I know he's trying to perform better in other to make the country's education to be safer but the honest truth, Nigeria education system is not as effective as that of abroad, the curriculum is quite different.

Common Wike should do better next time because people are indeed watching every move he takes. He should not forget that he's no saint and have gotten his hands dirty in politics which we all beleive to be a dirty game. For Wike to be self center, I don't blame him because he's a politician and all he thinks of is winning but can we say he's extorting money for revenues and developmental projects?

Somehow we just keep eulogizing all these politicians, personally I don't see any big deal in the matter, he has every right to give his son a quality education and since he has the resources then it is perfectly normal in my view. One key thing we should all agree to! is that politics is mostly about selfishness so if you see a politician being self centered, then he or she is just living up to the task.
