Quality posts are combination of different things and if you can combine them well in your post you will make complete sense, most importantly you should make posts that other people can understand the message that you are sending across. The forum has rules and part of them is not to spam the threads and no plagiarism, originality is a must, if an idea is not originally yours you should share the source. Do not deviate from the topic in discussion and don't try to impress anybody with ambiguous words if you don't truly know how to apply them in a discussion, it's better to keep it simple and precise. Lastly don't make comments in discussions that you know nothing about, it's not a must that you should make posts in every topic.

I don't think there's a particular criteria as to which will determine a quality post, sometimes even when you type, within yourself you will know that this thing I'm about to post doesn't really make sense. Your post should be readable and concise, it must not be lengthy for it to make sense. Personally, even a reasonable question serves as a quality post, but at the end, different individuals has what they are looking for in a post to term it a quality post and worthy of getting a reward for it.

I laughed out loud. You literally just talked about yourself. I didn't have the chance to ask what you were thinking when you created this post, knowing the company was closed, as the manager wrote, but you nevertheless offered yourself to participate in this company signature. Grin

That was an oversight, I made that request with a sleepy eye. You didn't wonder why I called the attention of a campaign manager in a totally different thread when I was supposed to do it in another? Or you wanna tell me you've not made a mistake at any point in time in this forum? In the morning when I realised it, I wanted to delete but the system prompted that it could only be done after 24hrs. Like I said earlier, it was an oversight.

4. Your post should be readable, understandable and informative: a quality post should be a post that someone can read and understand what you are talking about or referring to and it should contain important information, when it contains all this then one can call it a quality post.
These are good points and will help newbies create good and constructive posts. Staying relevant to the thread is necassary, we can't discuss about alts on the bitcoin topic unless it is relevant with some reference. Sometimes we need to discuss other topics that can be irrelevant but are necassary to be discussed or used in the discussion for the sake of understanding.

Originality and readability is necessary, because without both, one won't show interest and like what the author is saying. A post written poorly is mostly ignored by others and some even ignore them too.

Post only about and in threads that you actually know about the subject or at least care about it, simple as that.

Writing 10 lines of texts about things that could simply be reduced to 1 line in which wouldn't even add really anything to the thread is not exactly a proper definition of a quality post, it's just a spam.

Additionally knowing what defines a shitpost/spam might help as well: >>> whatever that is written using AI, plagiarized content or clueless rants that don't even cover the subject of the topic fit right into that category.

The poster may try his best in putting more effort to see that he gives the best, but judging for quality lies in the eyes of the beholders, when anyone sees such, they can easily predict if such delivers the exact information needed from his contribution.

I also expect that OP should add some interesting threads that possibly explain further about quality posts, even though this has been discussed countless times on this forum, it's not bad to channel in your own idea as a reminder of what a quality post could comprise.

Threads on quality post.

It depends, if the question bin mind is all about trying to learn something them they can do it your way but I like reading topics that doesn't reveal too much at first.

I find them far more interesting and surprising, just like I have said, it depends on what the topic is all about, not the asking questions type but those that involves spreading solid information.

Still I understand what you are saying, some people's topic on the forum doesn't even go well with the content they wrote.

Quality in general is of course subjective, this is the initial capital someone can consider something quality from the arguments written on the forum, but as a note that the basic quality competitor is to have values that can be considered important in a discussion whether it is information or your own point of view as a sender, everyone has their own views in assessing a quality, even what we consider to be ordinary words in the eyes of others can be very good value.

Apart from that, do post with the rules that have been made, as long as you don't get out of the discussion stated in the thread title then I think there will be no problem, quality or not is left to others, the important thing is that we do our best to contribute to a discussion.

The topic of quality posts and seed phrase is one the most repeated threads in the bitcoin community.Anyways,it’s quite informative to those newbies that are spamming the forum with garbage.First thing first as a user on this forum, for you to start a discussion try as much as you can,not to portray your thread or comment in a misleading manner.Misleading threads and comments aren’t quality posts, and lastly try to use the search engine to search if the topic you’re about creating has been created before in other to avoid repetition of topics.

Quality is subjective, and merit is one of the factor to chose which are quality posts but it is not the only factor to consider because many will agree that still a post can be quality but not receive any merit.

Usually length isn't what we should keep in mind when it comes to quality but people often confuses with long texts means it is informative while those can be simplified into a few lines and still convey the idea completely.

And to answer what is a quality post? Something that has a value not just some generic stuffs.

It could something ones know about and it may not be once it is a post that solves the issue of others or is constructed well to make a good contribution to the topic.
In the end, we're just saying what we see as quality posts because we all have different opinions about what we believe as quality post.

Writing 10 lines of texts about things that could simply be reduced to 1 line in which wouldn't even add really anything to the thread is not exactly a proper definition of a quality post, it's just a spam.
Another one is what you said here. Some people don't consider 1 liner post as a quality post.

On a Bitcoin forum, what really matters isn’t how long your post is or how excited it sounds — it’s whether you’re actually adding something useful.
A solid post shows you understand the topic and can explain it in a clear, simple way. Instead of just saying “Bitcoin is the future,” you explain why you think so, using logic, examples, or even your own experience.
Good posts usually:
Break down technical topics like fees, confirmations, mining, or halvings in plain terms
Rely on reasoning rather than emotion
Correct others respectfully
Share personal lessons with some reflection
Encourage real discussion instead of blind hype
Quick, empty replies don’t get much attention. One thoughtful post is often more valuable than many shallow ones.

Honestly, merits really can't be the only or most important criterion for the quality of a post, since it's common knowledge
that certain sections of a forum have more activity and merit sources, while others have less.
Someone can write a very long post without writing anything really important or relevant.
For me, a quality post means that I learned something new, got new information, or an answer to a question I had.
Of course, this is all subjective and depends on each forum member individually.
