Most of us that have quit temporary are also back but not to that point of reaching up to a year. Since if you have started this a year ago and able to overcome that urge to gamble.

I think the people who are able to put their gambling habits on a hold occasionally are the individuals who will be able to continue gambling responsibly for a very long time with gambling under their control. Many people did not take time try and control their gambling habits, they allowed gambling to control them onto the point that they could no longer control themselves and gambled on the slightest impulse. If those persons had given some time to taking a pause from gambling instead of gambling occasionally even after they lost some small amount of money, they would not have finally lost big.

The only time I took rest from gambling is that I have no extra money to bet so therefore it would be hard to continue gambling then.

I’ve done something similar before, putting gambling on hold when I felt it was starting to take more space than it should. At first it wasn’t easy, especially when good matchups were happening, but after a while the urge faded and my mindset felt clearer. That break helped me enjoy life without constantly thinking about bets, so I’m definitely a yes on going on hold when needed. But only if its necessary already.

I for sure did, the longest I had was probably over a month. There's only a handful of sports betting games that I'm interested in, and once the major tournaments end, I usually just take a break from gambling as well.

I have taken a break before, but that was not for long. It was the week I felt like I might have exhausted my gambling budget for the entire month, so I just had to take a break and watch from the background. I stayed for a whole month without gambling, and it was just a normal thing without me feeling too much of the urge to gamble until I felt like it's time to get back base on having budget for it, my break happens from time to time.

I took a break for over seven years. Did it help me? I can confidently say it did. I found a new hobby that I've immersed myself in and that doesn't interfere with my family life. My relationships with loved ones improved, and I became more mindful of how I spend my time. I can't say I don't play anymore. No, that's not true. I just have discipline now and a greater sense of responsibility to many people whom I can't let down.

A year seems like a long time. I haven't had such a long break because I gamble fairly regularly because I consider gambling a form of fun. Being a new gambler, it was challenging for me. I was losing and the amount kept increasing and I was feeling the pressure to get my money back. It was honestly an addictive phase. That was the same reason I left the casino for 3 years. Addiction was creeping in and I lost a good deal of funds. I had to quit before the situation became unredeemable. It was hard honestly, I had to let go of some friends that frequent the casino so that I can remain efficient in my addiction recovery. Uninstalling betting platform apps from my phone and never stepped my foot again in a physical casino.

It worked, I took 3 years away from the casino, enough time to be sure I'm no longer addicted and that I've structured my life around my career and only use the little time left for gambling if at all. Since I returned, I've made sure gambling is the last thing I ever give attention and to further reduce the attention, I only gamble with very little amounts(less than 5% of my earnings).

I actually don't have a problem with addiction so far. Whether there is money or not if I don't intend to bet then I won't do it. Although there is a pretty good bet but because I feel that the team playing is not one of the teams that is easy to analyze the victory then I will not take the risk to bet.

Basically disciplining yourself to be able to refrain from gambling is in your hands, because for me gamblers should be in full control of themselves not just driven by a good game.

I, on the other hand, when I play and win an amount that is just right and not too large, let's say $20 or $30, I'm already okay with that as a casino player. I don't prolong it in my bankroll balance; instead, I immediately withdraw it to my balance account and just stick to my regular limits at the casino.

This is what I repeatedly do with my gambling habit here in crypto gambling, so maybe that's why I haven't experienced winning a large amount, like a prize of more than $200 I've never really experienced that. But that's okay because I've gotten used to it, and I'm not addicted. I just gamble during my free time and when I have extra money here, and it's limited.
