Hunger is One of the greatest problems capable of turning someone to something else or can even kill faster than any sickness, Some do what they are not supposed to do because of hunger and finds it difficult controlling there actions on a long run. If you say someone died because of hunger i wont be doubtful because i know what hunger is capable of doing as i have been in such situations before, where things never works as planned nor expectations comes to reality but just survived under the mercy of the almighty god, so if i see others go through such i know how dangerous it is so the best is to do everything humanly possible to help with the little i have and never neglect them

You see suffering do happen everyday but it's on a silent, mostly from hunger and lack of essential support or care, and it's not noticed by people most times till it will be too late to handle that situation and that's when death comes in, because suddenly it shows that you have something to offer and before this, they really don't show concern. If it where to be asked ,I would say help should have come earlier not after death because the person you're helping is already dead so What's the essence of it, when it can really change a thing or the person's life.

To show compassion and support do matters more when someone is going through hardship, showing them kindness and supporting them will go along way for them rather than when everything has ended like can dead person receive help or support again

This is quite a different case. Having food served in the burial of someone who is perceived to have died for lack of food or good nutrition is a different thing and it is one time off, so can not be compared together. If you are not able to consistently and constantly sustain or eat food, it won't debar food from appearing on the day of such person's burial except the person layed cause, warned people on such activity while he was or she was alive and people decide to keep to that. Otherwise food will be provided for different reason to appreciate those who came to pay tribute and last respect to the dead. The food may not be very delicious type but people will be served something or snacks so that they won't be starved for the time they will be there.

Traditionally in Nigeria, there is a certain age of death that the family is expected to provide food for mourners and friends who came for the burial. Except it is an untimely death of a young person, then people may not expect food.

If someone dies because of lack of food, it doesn't mean such person didn't get support to be able to live better life although some families neglect their members to suffer in poverty for reasons known to them.

Lol 😂 that's the irony of life, how can someone die for lack of food but food and drinks where shared during their funeral service. That's why I like to live within a community setting that have cluster settlement, most counties look out for their neighbors, if they notice your struggling with basics, they extended an olive branch to you, either they look for job so for, so you can't easily fend for yourself or physical give you arms so you could use to help yourself. If your sick, they contribution and take you to the hospital, that's what a typical community set up look out for each other.

That's the sad reality of life that nobody cares to ask you how you are faring when you are alive, whether you are being fed well with your family or not. The last part caught my attention. It's really funny how many people die of huger yet people eat on the funeral day, but that is just the irony of life. The truth is that life is like a battle field and Also a jungle of the survival of the fittest. When people are struggling to survive, no one is ready to look back, because picking up another person cross will eventually drag you down. Most times the fault of the person who suffer for lack of food can be lack of proper planing or misuse of opportunity as a result of youthful exhubirant and when you fail or misuse the opportunity you have, it can't be reversed but if you die as a result of your failure then people will have no choice than to bury such you. Once you die the best they can do for you is to lay you to rest. What do you expect from people if I May ask? Do you not want people to eat in such person funeral when he or she has eaten from other people's own when he was alive;D. as you eat on other peoples funeral without minding if they died of hunger or without food , so shall people eat on yours without minding if hunger killed you.

If you have watched the situation in Gaza, you will understand that hunger doesn't just kill but torture its victim till they die slowly in pain. This is why if you have someone around you that's hungry, try and give them something to eat if you have. Just because you have enough to eat doesn't mean that the next man has enough too. This will only happen in communities where everyone is friendly with one another. Not in a community where people are jealous of each other's success.

It has been proven many times that people are willing to spend on funerals in this part of the world, but when it was time to help, they couldn't help out to harness the situation.

We get sick because we move and we have to adapt to the changing climate. And that's true, there are people who gets nothing to eat and so, that's the sad thing that happens to them.

Food and nutrition crises have become so severe in some countries that they are now considered a major problem in the world. Due to the war, there has been an extreme food shortage in Palestine, and children and the elderly are dying in Sudan due to lack of food. In other words, due to some geographical locations, there has been a massive food shortage in some countries. One of the main reasons for this is the lack of rain and the decrease in soil fertility, which has led to a massive reduction in food production and shortages.

What is the context here? Did it happen for real or is it just a reflexion to think about? Because if someone doesn't have money to purchase food, how could the funeral be sponsored at first place? I've seen situations where people were living miserably, but it was due to the head of family being neglecting, or suffering from some mental ilness which prevented him from giving dignity to the family.

Lack of food is consequence of something more serious, like not having conditions to take care of oneself, being addicted, unable to work for some reason... There are exceptions, but in most cases, it's just the consequence of what the person had been sowing along the life.

A typical behaviour among people of my setting in the society I emerge from. A thing that I bloody hate and would always sarcastically remind people around me to always show their care, love, sweet words  and support to me now that am alive, and not wait when have taken my last breathe and there would be burial arrangements, committees amd contributions to give me a befitting glamorous burial ceremony where foods, drinks and souvenirs wouldn't be wanting.

Well it seems you didn't get the point. People do without food for weeks but food is one of life basics that is always needed even when naked on the street and should not be lacked because continuous lack of it will cause more health challenges that can catapult death overtime. Some people under these conditions do not usually get help when they requested from friends and even relatives but when the unavoidable (death) catapulted by their abject lack happens, food the basic they craved for is served on their funeral.
