Some realities! Some one died because of hunger

If you have watched the situation in Gaza, you will understand that hunger doesn't just kill but torture its victim till they die slowly in pain. This is why if you have someone around you that's hungry, try and give them something to eat if you have. Just because you have enough to eat doesn't mean that the next man has enough too. Poverty and war can make someone die of hunger.

Palestine is completely devastated and the entire fertile land has been rendered barren by the bombardment, due to which there is no condition to grow crops there. Moreover, no development activities have been taken on agricultural work in Palestine so far, due to which there is still an extreme shortage of food and water crisis, even though the war has stopped. Moreover, most countries on the African continent are facing severe food shortages. Sudan is going through a massive food shortage and food crisis, and many people are dying there due to lack of food.

Some aspects of people's culture need to be amended and burial and marriage celebrations are some of them. Celebating burail have become a burden to families because of the financial implications. People who are bereaved and might have spent so much on medical bill before the demise of their loved one will be subjected to another burden.

The villagers would force them to present different items, which include foods, drinks and others, to entertain sympathisers. Some people have to take loans because their income is not enough to finance the burial. Some religious groups are also contributing to the financial burden because they come up with thier own demands.

If I am a law maker, I would introduce a law that will repel any cultural practices which will subject the people to untolled hardship. People should be allowed to bury thier loved ones the way they like or can afford.

I am from Venezuela, so I am familiar enough with people who have struggled with access to food and nutrishment.
And I have realized people in first world countries take too much for granted all their access to calories and food in general.

Here in Venezuela, there was a time (around 2017) when people literally try to search their meal among trash bags on the street, things have improved a bit since, but there are still people struggling with food. There will be always people in need, but we must reduce the percentage of them in society.

I understand your point, and I've also seen it in my community. Some people have experienced exactly the same thing: starving during their lifetime, and when they die, the food they receive is fragrant and filling. It's a strange occurrence in the world, even though they don't live in a barren environment. It's simply because of poverty that prevents people from being able to afford food. Our reality is truly bitter among the lower classes, who are untouched by human assistance.

This is the importance of social awareness and socializing so that people can help us when we're in need, especially in situations where there's little food due to crop failure or where it's difficult to find, such as living in a desert.

I mean, I and my friend actually had a little argument about this kind of mindset. We were actually discussing how we are struggling as youths, then he stated that anything I’m doing I should focus on mine while he focuses on his, and the only thing we could both do to help each other is by praying for ourselves.

As individuals, we should learn how to help one another. Praying alone isn’t enough when you know you can actually help that person, and that was the mentality I brought, which shut up my friend.

IMO, praying doesn't change anything but you can do more than just pray. Help each other grow by sharing knowledge, partner up in business or whatever you intend to, because when there is two like minded persons there who you can trust completely then you can reach the goal faster than doing it all by yourself.

Helping others is a great gesture but you can't make them to be better, it will be just one time thing so as the famous saying "instead of feeding them fish teaching them how to fish will help them for life."

I've never witnessed a country which have suffered this foreign invasion and attacks like the Palestine, it is like their country have always been a playground for the foreigners especially those countries who are always supporting the Israelites instead of bringing true peace, they join their force in covertly oppressing an innocent country over the conflict of land, sovereignty and security which are all things they could have resolved if they wanted peace to reign but they decided to continue to make life miserable for the Palestine. I just hope all this killings and fight for power and supremacy will stop one day and the world will live and coexist peacefully

You're totally correct,  the hardship in our country Nigeria is too much, no good food, no good water, people are eating from hand to mouth, just to survive,  what can only make this hunger to reduce is when the federal government create more  job opportunity, increase salary then people can now feed well, imagine as a family man you're earning 150k every month, this money can literally do nothing, sometimes feeding well will be very difficult, hunger is the worst thing to experience as a human.

There is definitely hardship everywhere, even in some of the country we do envy like the advanced country there are still poor people there. However the level of corruption in our country is nothing compared to theres because there are some of the policy that this our government normally make that it won't be possible in advance countries without the person being impeach.

How will prayers work when you don't want to be the answer to another persons prayers and they too to yours. A friend during need, is a friend indeed, it's not just prayers but doings. Help when necessary as much as possible even when there's no prayers, a help from a friend is an answer to prayer that doesn't need to be made but the thanks giving is bountiful.

unfortunately this is the way of life for many individuals they can find it hard to explain to some one that they are unable to feed them sleeves and for others in poverty stricken countries they know no different.

as for people being fed at the funeral this is just the way we work we give to there in times of need but not when no one is around to see us do it. it is sad? yes of course but this is the harsh reality of the world we live in and have always lived in, greed of people with always out rule the good.

This is really funny but true. Still in many places there is a situation where when someone is starving due to lack of food, he is ignored but when he dies due to lack of food, people feel sorry for him and come to do justice to that person. The situation is always different because there are many such pictures in society where when a person has a lot of wealth and food, people come forward to feed and help those people but those who really need help are deprived.

This inequality in society must be overcome. Those who have they do not need it but those who don't have it should be helped. No one should have any difficulty in understanding this simple matter. We all need to change our attitude.

Hunger is One of the greatest problems capable of turning someone to something else or can even kill faster than any sickness, Some do what they are not supposed to do because of hunger and finds it difficult controlling there actions on a long run. If you say someone died because of hunger i wont be doubtful because i know what hunger is capable of doing as i have been in such situations before, where things never works as planned nor expectations comes to reality but just survived under the mercy of the almighty god, so if i see others go through such i know how dangerous it is so the best is to do everything humanly possible to help with the little i have and never neglect them

Hunger can kill there is no doubt about it. At this time the whole veins, nerves, artries become very weak due to lack food nutrients needed by the body to keep it energize.
It also can cause sickness in the body like headache, high blood pressure, depression and many more.

Many dies because of hunger the reality is that hungers kills faster than anything else because it attack both physical, psychological aspect, many argue that hungry does not kill I laughed with opinion though they are entitled to their opinion, but today many have turn slave , sold their rights, and even aboundon their life dream in pursuit to solve hunger issue, no body strive and live healthy live or pursuing dream where hunger has taken over his life, the level of thinking of man is associated with the kind of feeding it able to feed on, many foresight doe not go beyond stomach infrastructure as a result of hunger. No matter how much the world has advanced, there are still a lot of people that are struggling to eat. others cant afford basic medical care and either of them can still struggle in such a condition and die in the process. there are people that are battling with depression just because they feel that the world is unfair towards them because in same environment where you are struggling to eat at most twice a day, others are living the luxurious life you can even dream of and yet you might be more hardworking than they are.

there is no time that people don't die of health issue not because there is no cure for the things they are suffering from both because they either don't have access to good health facility or the facility is not even around. we are living in a world with unequal distribution of all the common things we share and this is a serious issue that is often times less talked about.

Here in Africa, a poor man that live all his life struggling to eat will be buried with enough food by his relatives when he dies, it's a bad habit in Africa, if you seek for help they will not support you, even your medical but once you die, they will have money to invite people all round to your funeral and cook food for them.

People are suffering in Africa, many people are dying daily because of starvation, some only eat once in a day because of poverty, they have no money to buy food while the government officials are embezzling their fortune, it's real people are dying of hunger, food should be accessible by all to reduce death rate, it's possible our government can do it by creating employment and empowerment.

This is the irony of life, somebody dying of hunger and family and friends entertain themselves after the burial, I don't about other parts of the world but burial ceremonies are big deals in many cultures in Nigeria, and Africa, at large. I knew many poor people who didn't have much, their children don't visit them and people don't help them with money, food and healthcare to live a normal life. But you will be surprised that if these poor people dies all those people that never showed him or her concern when they were alive will be the ones to contribute to the burial. On burial day people that have not visited and helped in years will come to show their last respect. In the end it will be eating and drinking with loud music, very pathetic.

Depending on the society you find yourself.  Some parts of the world value the dead more than the living.  This.could be seen in most parts like the southern and Western parts of Nigeria.  Especially the southern parts of the country. They fan go as far as selling of proper and taking huge loans they end up paying for years just for the sake of having a big burial or a relative who they proberbly did not not even care for when they were alive.
It looks like different families competing on who buried his relative in the best of ways. But you will be surprised at how they treat themselves when the person is alive.
They careless for each other with no support for each other but once its a burial then all the things change to who does it better.
