What happens is that I’ve seen many cases of shipments from Europe to America that end up getting lost. Since this would stay within the same continent, it might be more reliable. That’s why I’m looking for someone I can trust. Shipping from Europe to the United States makes me a bit nervous because there’s always a risk of the coin getting lost. It’s just a concern — I know everything could go perfectly fine, but I prefer to be cautious and make sure.

I am in Europe and have been buying and selling various items over various platforms. Books, clothing,
tools, engine parts, LP's, food to an from all around the world and only twice has there been issues.

Once with posting internally in my country to my brother, a card with a gift voucher went missing.

and another time where I won an item on ebay for waaay below its value but the seller said it was posted,
I never got it and the seller refunded my money - you can read between the lines with that one!

so other than those I have always received and have items delivered!

I understand your concern particularly with an extremely high value collectible. There is always the option to
trade physically yourself and cut out the possibility of lost/stolen items?

regarding your worries, I'm not sure an escrow helps because its the postage element you are wary of

I can provide help and support for receive and ship items inside the EU or in/out EU.
I am just using UPU - classic postage and/or international couriers.
Actually due tariffs and "confusion" in this matter I have lost at least 4 shipments (from pokemon box cards to random collectibles).
If you send items to USA, there is still this risk + shipment fees are really high with private service. Only documents - paper have not this issue.
Escrow by itself (as reported by others) can't provide any real advantage unless you can be sure he will send and receive your items in a safe way.
