I can agree that bitcoin has already dominated many places, not just because its trendy but because of the strong economic and technological features it presents. People all over the world want to hold it, government regulate it and big institution buy and add it to their balance sheets. You don't chase something that does not matter, the whole world is reacting to bitcoin in different ways. Full dominance has not been achieved yet but with time it would.
Although its adaptation is still low owing to restriction in some countries and its volatility, lack of educational and technological advancement in some countries, but with time as bitcoin matures, its volatility would reduce and its use cases would increase. Maybe by then most entities and government would see it as real money and not just a speculative asset and its adoption would greatly increase. With the right education and sensitization too, more people would be inclined to hold and use it.
